When Su Zhining appeared in the restaurant with Ye Wan, there was a brief silence.
Those picking up their meals.
Those fetching drinks.
Those carrying fruit plates.
Everyone simultaneously looked at Ye Wan, their eyes clearly saying: Sister Wan, if you're being held hostage, just blink!
One was the original leading actress, joining the team with financial backing.
The other conquered Director Ming with her talent and was the confirmed leading actress.
Not to mention, when they first arrived at the meeting room, anyone could tell Su Zhining was somewhat displeased with Ye Wan.
The script meeting ended just minutes ago, and these two actors with reason to be adversaries have reconciled?
Who would believe it?
Su Zhining squinted, looking around like a villain.
But she spoke to Ye Wan, "They surely think either you're being held by me, or they've seen it wrong."
Ye Wan nodded, "I think so too."
"Then why don't they believe we've already made peace?"
