Flying at top speed while leaving behind a path of decay for his army, Derek finally made it out of the Den of God beasts just after a day. His speed was fast since he moved alone, and Derek knew it would take the army three to five days to leave the forest.

As he flew past the last set of trees leading out of the forest, Derek's gaze narrowed as his vision was blocked by a thick fog. This was unusual because a deity with unparalleled vision could not be blinded by a mere fog unless this was not a normal fog.
{Be careful. I sense divinity within this fog!} Demos warned, and he responded with a nod.
Derek didn't doubt his master, but he didn't completely agree with him. In this world, the old gods were nearly forgotten and weak, so they could not exist outside their temples. This reminded him of his battle with Aeloria the true Goddess of life and Deucalion the true God of death, their battle would have ended in his death, but they managed to escape the temple.
