Chapter 4 - [CHAPTER 4]:{Primordial Genesis: Wrath of the Origin Dragon}

1st POV

[ORDER ACCEPTED]

A ripple of energy spread across the void, a command written into the very fabric of existence.

[DOES MASTER WISH TO ENTER HIBERNATION STATE?]

I exhaled softly, though there was no air to carry the sound.

"Yes, my dear. I don't particularly enjoy the idea of feeling my entire body being reconstructed and enlarged at the same time."

Yet, before I could drift into hibernation, a thought crossed my mind.

What time period is this?

More importantly—if my evolution will take time, what major event will be occurring by the time I awaken?

A pause.

Then Athena's voice, smooth and unwavering.

[Answer: The attack of Veldora on the Vampire Kingdom.]

So it's that moment…

I should've known.

If I truly am in the final resting place of Veldanava, then it makes sense that he must have perished relatively recently. The state of his corpse, the lingering energy, the way the void itself still thrummed with echoes of his presence—it all pointed to the same conclusion.

"Say, Athena, can I sleep through this first evolution?"

[Answer: Yes. However, upon the second evolution, an Omni-Versal Announcement will be made, celebrating your birth.]

I see…

A declaration to all of existence, heralding my emergence.

…Good.

I have no intentions of hiding.

Why should I?

Why would I, the Primordial Origin Dragon God, lower myself to the level of these beings, no matter how powerful?

To conceal myself would be an act of weakness. And neither my pride, nor my very Concept of Existence, would allow such disgrace.

They can think whatever they want.

But nothing in existence can harm me.

Nothing in existence can kill me.

Not after my evolution.

"Athena, begin the Maturation Process. Silence all announcements until my second evolution."

[Confirmed.]

{THANATOS}

And with that—

Everything turned black.

Echoes of a Lost King

I felt…

Weightless.

Was I floating?

Or was there simply no gravity for me to feel?

It was a strange sensation—an absolute void, a nothingness so complete it made even the concept of movement irrelevant.

Then—

Visions.

Memories not my own.

Veldanava's memories.

Flashes of battles spanning across eras, of endless skies stretching across dimensions, of a dragon whose very breath wove the foundations of reality itself.

And then—

A betrayal.

A shattered bond.

A name burned into the very fabric of these memories—

IVARAJ.

My mind froze.

Then burned.

Then screamed.

"WHY…?!"

A brother.

Not just a comrade, not just an ally—a brother.

The sole being who stood by his side from the moment of his birth.

They had wandered together, fought together, bled together.

Trillions of years.

An eternity of brotherhood.

And yet—

He was betrayed.

He was slain.

Not because of greed, not because of hatred, but for something so petty, so disgustingly cowardly—

Fear.

I saw it.

I felt it.

The moment Veldanava realized the truth—

That Ivaraj never intended to remain by his side.

That Ivaraj had never seen him as an equal.

That Ivaraj had always feared him.

Veldanava had given everything.

Sacrificed everything.

Even damaging his own Dragon Factor—the very essence of his existence—just to protect the brother who would ultimately strike him down.

Rage.

Hatred.

Sorrow.

I could feel it boiling within me, a storm threatening to consume my very soul.

I clenched my hands—only to realize that I no longer had a humanoid form.

Ah…

I see.

My True Form has begun to take shape.

And yet—

Even as I felt my existence shift, as my body expanded beyond comprehension, the rage did not fade.

How could it?

How dare he?

After everything Veldanava had done for him?!

A burning oath formed within me—

IVARAJ WILL DIE BY MY HAND.

I swear upon my very Origin.

Awakening of the Primordial Dragon

A moment passed.

Or perhaps eternity did.

I felt it—my form solidifying, my body stretching far beyond what I could once comprehend.

There was no pain—a mere side effect of my abilities, I assumed.

But beyond that, something deeper had changed.

I felt whole.

Complete.

Or perhaps—

Perfect.

A force surged through me—an undeniable presence, something beyond mere strength.

Something supreme.

More than power.

More than divinity.

This…

This was Paragon.

I could feel it.

My very existence had transcended beyond mere dragons, beyond mere gods.

And yet…

Even now, I sensed that there was still one final threshold left to break.

Perhaps upon my next evolution, I would go even further—beyond Paragon, beyond Divinity, beyond Existence itself.

A chuckle left my lips.

Ridiculous.

How far will I ascend?

I pushed the thought aside. For now, something else caught my attention.

The sheer scale of my body.

A simple curiosity took hold.

"Athena, how large have I become?"

Her response was immediate.

[Answer: Your True Form is 257 times the size of the Omni-Verse.]

…Heh?

What.

WHAT?!

I blinked.

Then blinked again.

257 times the size of the Omni-Verse?!

What the actual hell?!

I had expected my body to be vast, but this… this was beyond absurdity.

I wasn't just large—I was an absolute, an unfathomable force that eclipsed entire realities simply by existing.

A grin stretched across my face.

My evolution is complete.

And soon—

The Omni-Verse will know my name.
