The shopping was done before we even realized the list was completely knocked out, each item and replacement obtained with the money we had been given while still having some left to spare, which put a small debate between us on the way back to the cottage.
Do we tell the Empress that the money she gifted us wasn't completely used up and attempt to give it back or do we just express our gratitude for the money and stay quiet about the excess that we were going to pocket?
It wasn't much of a debate but it did help pass the time as we returned to one of the places we had started to associate with the word 'home', which was that cottage nestled into the side of the mountain in between the Palace and the rest of the Capital.
