My curiosity got the better of me eventually, so I excused myself from the sorting of ingredients and answered my instincts, which were screaming at me to go back to the house and take a look at what was going on.
Considering Anput was still lingering around the area picking up random monster parts and stuffing them into her Storage Bracelet, I knew for a fact that Jahi was alone with Kat, and for a very brief moment I felt a pang in my chest that soured my emotions.
It was only there for a brief flash, but it was enough for me to notice it and begin to question everything... or at the very least, question what I felt about how our dynamic was currently working.
On the one hand it was not able to be any more obvious that Jahi favored Kat, and while that certainly made me a little jealous of the busty, tempting, seductress of a Dogkin that I constantly wanted to have sweet passionate sex with, I also... obviously could understand where that favor came from.
