Arturo Taraki Baguinda-Byeon, a Korean-Filipino from the Philippines, had traveled to Yokohama, Japan to attend university. But before that, he found that he had a distant relative on his mother’s side. That relative was Atsushi Nakajima, an orphan who is now a detective for the Armed Detective Agency. So, before attending his first day of class, he searched for him and that agency. After some time, he did so and became friends with Atsushi and his agency. Arturo also took a part-time job as an analyst to help out and for his own living costs.
  But that decision had placed him as an enemy to the Port Mafia. He will have an alliance with one Friedrich Nietzsche, who had an ability known as Living For, and a few misfits with a colourful array of abilities, including his university head, Minamoto Barbaza. But will Arturo utilize his abilities and new assets to defend himself, his friends, and his social circle with his two gifted abilities?

 By late afternoon on that day, the news of Chuuya's assault on Arturo in the supermarket reached the desk of Minamoto via Lorenzo and Kai. Minamoto let out a sigh of slight disappointment. "First, the ADA office, now a supermarket?"


 He not only pays for the damages Chuuya caused to the supermarket with government funds, but by tomorrow morning by 10 a.m., he will go down to the site with a team of 50 students from a vocational course of his university under a short OJT program. The reconstruction of the supermarket began almost immediately, much to the relief of the owner of Minamoto. Minamoto wasn't done yet; he had a negotiating chat with Mori in the Port Mafia headquarters by 11 a.m. He had orange juice from Tang while Mori prefers tea.


Chuuya was still mumbling about Arturo's act on the Port Mafia's image and the annoying interference of Dazai from yesterday.


 "Can you tone down the destruction of your subordinates for a while?" Minamoto looked at Mori briefly. "My student Arturo isn't your punching bag for your men, even if it means doing his protection duty for the Agency."


Mori leaned back on his swivel chair and said, "Okay, I'll do it for you."


He glanced at Chuuya. "You heard that, right? No intense battles with Byeon-san. You'd better shift your focus to wine for a while."


Though annoyed, Chuuya accepted it. "Fine…"


 At the same time, in the Agency, Arturo was observing the dynamics between Junichiro and Naomi. It was a sight he found puzzling. In the Philippines, family is important, but this one is a step too far. Atsushi, meanwhile, was counting on his day off, which will be on this week's Tuesday.
