Lu Jing had regained his composure by now:
"I'm here, I'm here."
Hearing the response, Miss Dai on the phone finally let out a long sigh of relief:
"You scared me to death, what exactly happened?"
Lu Jing took a deep breath:
"Nothing much, just a small collision."
"What, a car accident?"
How could that be nothing?
Just by the tone, he knew there was a misunderstanding on the other end, and he hurriedly explained:
"It's really not a big deal, just a bump on the rear end, Jiang Ye is already handling it."
"Really?"
"Do I really need to lie to you?"
It's not that big of a deal, alright?
Miss Dai finally felt relieved:
"As long as you're okay. With Captain Jiang there, handling these issues is a breeze. Just sit tight in the car, and don't move around."
Lu Jing was somewhat amused and exasperated—did everyone treat him like a child?
"I didn't get out. How about you? Have you handled everything?"
"Yep, it's pretty much settled now, Lu Lu, I'm going to hang up."
