"Why does this scene feel so familiar?"
Adam Ross leaned in close to Harper Gibson, whispering to him.
"Have you forgotten how our second brother drowned his sorrows in booze that time?" Harper nudged Adam with his elbow, a slight furrow in his brow.
"How could I forget? I almost died drinking with the second brother that time," Adam said, his stomach starting to ache at the memory of that dark experience.
"That's because you can't hold your liquor,"
Harper lounged comfortably, spreading his arms out on the sofa.
"If that's the case, then you show me how it's done,"
Adam raised an eyebrow at Harper, gesturing towards the almost-empty bottle of whisky in front of Justin Battleson.
"Damn... life-threatening, that. The bottle isn't filled with water, is it? Typical of our second brother,"
Harper couldn't help giving a silent thumbs-up.
