Riley looked at the director with some confusion.
"I've indeed called you for something. I'm about to start filming a new TV series and I'm looking for a female lead. I'm wondering if you are available?"
The director's words made Riley's hand, which was pressing on the quilt, suddenly tighten, and a flash of excitement passed through her eyes.
However, on the surface, she still pretended to be calm.
"I'll discuss with my manager and check my schedule."
Upon hearing Riley's response, the director immediately spoke again, "Miss Riley, please make some time to join the cast. If you truly can't find a suitable time, even a guest role would be fine."
The director's words made Riley tilt her head somewhat quizzically, "Mr. Alexander, you seem very eager for me to participate in this series?"
The director's expression stiffened, and finally, under Riley's somewhat scrutinizing gaze, he touched his nose and let out an awkward laugh.
