Chapter 140 - Chapter 140: My Girlfriend is More Than 20 Years Older Than Me...

Senju Hashirama: "@Namikaze Minato, did you just mention Tsunade? Group Leader, let's go back to Konoha! I've wanted to see her for so long, but ever since you arrived in this world, You have been too busy."

Senju Tobirama: "Tell me about it. The moment he got here, he had to clean up Konoha's mess, then rush to Kirigakure to deal with that Fourth Mizukage that are being manipulated by Uchiha Obito."

Gengetsu Hōzuki: "I don't like how you phrased that, but I can't argue against it..."

Senju Tobirama: "After dealing with Obito in Kirigakure, went to Amegakure to reclaim the Rinnegan. Then, started collecting tailed beasts across the ninja world, and now Group Leader preparing to unify it under one rule."

Lucas: "Yeah, I get it. Ever since I came to the Ninja world, I've been running around non-stop. If it weren't for my Float-Float Fruit letting me move my house around, I'd be dead tired by now."

Namikaze Minato: "At least you have that. Flying Thunder God is a great travel method, but you still need the Flying Thunder God mark to teleport."

Senju Tobirama: "Fourth Hokage, I didn't invent the Flying Thunder God Technique so you could use it as a taxi service."

Uchiha Madara: "Tch. We all know you created it to counter the Uchiha, to give yourself a speed advantage that even the Mangekyō Sharingan couldn't counter—so you could fight against the Uchiha. My brother, Izuna, died because of that technique."

Senju Hashirama: "That's all in the past. Let's not bring it up again. We're all dead now—no point arguing over it."

Uchiha Madara: "Fair enough. Besides, my Uchiha clan is still thriving, while your Senju clan is about to go extinct."

Senju Hashirama: "Who says? The Senju clan still has a proud direct descendant—Tsunade! There's no way we're disappearing!"

Uchiha Madara: "Oh really? So, you're expecting one woman to single-handedly revive your entire clan? That's a stretch. Also... you don't know, do you?"

Senju Tobirama: "Know what?"

Uchiha Madara: "Your granddaughter lost her lover when she was young. There's a high chance she'll never marry. So yeah, the complete extinction of your Senju clan is very possible."

Senju Tobirama: "…"

Senju Hashirama: "…"

Lucas: "Alright, let's put that aside. If that's the case, let's head to Konoha. Since Tsunade left, she's been wandering the ninja world without a fixed location. If she doesn't want to be found, it won't be easy to track her down."

Uchiha Madara: "It's not that you're too busy to look for her—it's that she's genuinely difficult to find. And compared to wasting time searching for Tsunade, there are more pressing matters to handle first."

Uchiha Madara: "@Senju Tobirama, don't act like some tragic martyr. It's not that the group leader doesn't care about your clan—it's that your Senju descendants are too weak to keep it going."

Gengetsu Hōzuki: "Madara's got a point. Second Hokage, stop acting like a self-sacrificing saint. Even if you did beg for Tsunade's sake, the group leader would still prioritize other tasks."

Senju Tobirama: "Oh, so now the Senju clan is the failure? I suppose your Hōzuki clan and Uchiha clan are just thriving then?"

Gengetsu Hōzuki: "…"

Uchiha Madara: "…"

Both of them fell silent, thinking about the state of their own clans.

Konoha Village, Hokage's Office

With a flash of light, Lucas appeared in the Hokage's office using the Flying Thunder God Technique. Inside, Namikaze Minato was present, along with the three legendary Sannin of Konoha.

"Lord Lucas!"

Minato and the three Sannin quickly stood up in respect the moment they saw him.

"Relax, sit down. No need to be so tense," Lucas said with a smile, noticing how cautious the Sannin were around him.

To the average ninja, the Sannin were legendary figures—powerful warriors above all others. But they knew better. Compared to Lucas, they were just ordinary people.

Jiraiya, the white-haired Sannin, scratched his head awkwardly. After a moment of hesitation, he finally spoke up.

"Lord Lucas… Minato has told me a lot about you. Do you really have power comparable to the Sage of Six Paths?"

Lucas glanced at Jiraiya and smirked. "Before asking me that, did you consult that old toad in Mount Myōboku?"

Jiraiya blinked in surprise. "You… even know about the Great Toad Sage?"

"Of course. That old toad, Great Toad Sage Gamamaru, was the one who guided the Sage of Six Paths over a thousand years ago. Its ability to foresee the future through dreams is impressive," Lucas explained. "So, did it predict my arrival?"

Jiraiya sighed. "No. I went to Mount Myōboku and asked the Great Toad Sage… but it told me that it can no longer see the future."

Lucas raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"

Jiraiya continued, "It said that the timeline has been completely disrupted. You, who do not belong to history, have erased the original future."

Lucas chuckled. "So that's what it said, huh? Let me guess—you're not sure whether this change is good or bad for the ninja world, so you wanted to meet me in person?"

Jiraiya nodded, looking slightly embarrassed. "Yeah… Also, I don't know if you've heard, but the Great Toad Sage once predicted that my disciple would be the 'Child of Prophecy'—the one who would change the ninja world."

Lucas grinned. "Well, there's no 'Child of Prophecy' anymore. That whole prophecy is obsolete. Now, I have power on par with the Sage of Six Paths, and I'll be the one leading the ninja world's development from here on out."

In the Chat Group

Senju Tobirama: "@Everyone, what's the deal with the Great Toad Sage from Mount Myōboku? The ability to predict the future is way too overpowered, isn't it?"

Uchiha Madara: "Wait, that old toad actually taught the Sage of Six Paths and has been alive for thousands of years?!"

Gengetsu Hōzuki: "That's insane! I always thought that old fossil Ohnoki had an unnaturally long life, but I didn't expect a toad to outlive entire generations. Do toads really live that long?"

Lucas: "It's not just any toad—it's a Toad Sage. The Summoning Beasts of the Three Great Sacred Lands all gain near-immortality once they master Sage Mode. As for its ability to predict the future, that's really nothing to be afraid of."

Senju Hashirama: "Why do you say that?"

Lucas: "First of all, the Toad Sage only sees fragments of the future through dreams. Its prophecies are vague at best. Take Jiraiya's case—it predicted that his disciple would be the 'Child of Prophecy,' but it couldn't even tell who that child was."

Howard Stark: "So it can't even pinpoint a person? Then this ability is kinda useless. What's the point of having a prophecy if you still have to search for the guy yourself? That's like looking for a needle in a haystack!"

Lucas: "Exactly. Jiraiya ended up training three potential candidates for the Child of Prophecy—Uzumaki Nagato, Namikaze Minato, and Uzumaki Naruto."

Senju Tobirama: "No need to guess. It was obviously Uzumaki Naruto. But let's be real, does it even matter anymore? With the group leader here, there's no need for anyone to 'save the world' by defeating Kaguya."

Outside World

Jiraiya let out a long sigh of relief. It felt as if a heavy weight had finally been lifted off his shoulders.

For years, he had been carrying the burden of searching for the Child of Prophecy, but now—he finally understood there was no need.

Lucas had the power of the Sage of Six Paths himself. No prophecy, no destined child, no great savior was required anymore.

Jiraiya chuckled to himself. "Well, I guess that's that… I can finally let go of that mission."

Lucas, noticing Jiraiya's expression, shook his head. "Why were you even searching in the first place? According to the Great Toad Sage's prophecy, the Child of Prophecy would become your apprentice no matter what. Even if you didn't look for him, fate would have led you to him."

Orochimaru, who had been silent until now, sneered. "Hmph, if Jiraiya didn't have that excuse, how else would the Third Hokage have allowed him to wander around? He already knew that the so-called Child of Prophecy would become his disciple eventually, but he still needed a reason to leave Konoha."

Jiraiya's face darkened. "Orochimaru, what are you implying?"

Orochimaru gave him a mocking glance. "Oh, don't play dumb. Konoha under the Third Hokage's rule became corrupt and rotten to the core. You, me, and Tsunade—we all left Konoha for a reason."

Jiraiya remained silent for a long moment before finally sighing. "You're right. The old man made a lot of mistakes. Konoha became a mess, and I… I didn't have the strength—or the courage—to fix it. So yeah, I ran away."

After a pause, Jiraiya smirked and looked at Orochimaru. "But you know… I didn't just leave to escape Konoha. I left to bring you back."

Orochimaru raised an eyebrow, amused. "Oh? And how did that turn out?"

Jiraiya shrugged. "Not great, obviously. But hey, in the end, you still returned to Konoha in your own way, didn't you?"

In the Chat Group

Gengetsu Hōzuki: "Is it just me, or do Jiraiya and Orochimaru have a… weird relationship?"

Lucas: "What's weird about it? It's the classic 'rivals who care about each other but will never admit it' dynamic. It's kinda like Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara, but closer to Hatake Kakashi and Uchiha Obito."

Howard Stark: "Ooooh, now we're getting somewhere. So, is Jiraiya the Kakashi of this situation?"

Lucas: "Nope. Jiraiya is actually Uchiha Obito in this equation."

Senju Tobirama: "Wait, what?! But Orochimaru was the one who defected!"

Lucas: "Doesn't matter. Jiraiya and Obito were both the underdogs of their generation, while Orochimaru and Kakashi were the top students in their class. Eventually, both Jiraiya and Obito surpassed the so-called prodigies. That's their real similarity."

Gold Thief Woonan: "Oh? So even the so-called 'losers' can rise up and surpass the geniuses? Seems like the ninja world has its own underdog stories."

Golden Lion Shiki: "Tch. Small fry surpassing other small fry doesn't impress me. The real power play is when someone overcomes the Ōtsutsuki Clan!"

Howard Stark: "So who's the 'Rin Nohara' in this situation?"

Namikaze Minato: "There isn't one. Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Tsunade were teammates, but they didn't go through a tragic 'Rin Nohara' situation."

Uchiha Shisui: "Now that I think about it, Konoha's Sannin are kinda like Kakashi's team. The Sannin were trained by the Third Hokage, while Kakashi's team was trained by the Fourth Hokage."

Senju Tobirama: "Hold up. You're telling me that Sarutobi Hiruzen—the guy responsible for the Senju Clan's downfall—was Tsunade's teacher?! Disgraceful!"

Gengetsu Hōzuki: "Yeah, say what you want about Sarutobi Hiruzen, but the dude had a good track record for training students. All three of his apprentices—Konoha's Sannin—became Kage-level shinobi."

Sword God Ryuma: "If he had focused on teaching instead of being Hokage, maybe things would've been different. When an incompetent leader takes charge, it brings disaster. That's why I always say—bad leadership is a crime!"

Lucas: "Sarutobi Hiruzen being a good teacher? Give me a break. Konoha's Sannin ended up as a pervert, a gambler, and a mad scientist—each with their own personal issues. That's not the mark of a good teacher; that's sheer luck. He just happened to train three talented individuals."

Senju Tobirama: "…You know what? That actually makes sense."

Senju Hashirama: "Wait a minute, I know Tsunade got her gambling habits from me, but Orochimaru and Jiraiya…"

Lucas: "Jiraiya writes adult novels that are best-sellers in the ninja world. If you ever get the chance, you should check them out."

Senju Hashirama: "Don't be ridiculous! I have no interest in that kind of stuff!"

Howard Stark: "Now I'm kinda curious… If there's ever a way to get my hands on one of those books, I'd definitely take a look."

Howard Stark was, at his core, a scientist. Unlike many of the group members, he wasn't a warrior or a powerhouse. He was far more fascinated by culture, technology, and entertainment than by raw strength.

A bestselling adult novel in another world? That definitely piqued his interest.

Too bad if he was brought back to life, he will stuck in an Impure World Reincarnation body—meaning no physical reactions. That part was... disappointing.

Tsunade, seeing that Jiraiya's concerns had been addressed, suddenly spoke up.

"Lord Lucas, can you help me bring two people back? Since you can reincarnate Namikaze Minato through the Impure World Reincarnation, you should also be able to revive others, right?"

Lucas chuckled. "And who do you want me to bring back?"

Without hesitation, Tsunade replied, "My brother—Senju Nawaki. And my lover—Kato Dan."

Lucas smirked. "Tsunade, you really never thought about bringing back your grandfather and granduncle?"

Tsunade blinked, then shook her head. "No need! The Impure World Reincarnation technique was invented by my granduncle Tobirama, and then banned at my grandfather Hashirama's insistence. Neither of them liked the idea of messing with the souls of the dead. If I were to reincarnate them, I'd probably just get scolded!"

Lucas raised an eyebrow. "So, in other words, you'll reincarnate only the people who won't scold you?"

Tsunade nodded without shame. "Exactly! The elders wouldn't want to be disturbed, but Nawaki and Kato Dan? They wouldn't dare scold me!"

Lucas gave Tsunade a long look before asking, "Is that really the only reason?"

Tsunade's expression froze.

At the same time, in the chat group, both Senju Hashirama and Senju Tobirama became noticeably alert.

Senju Tobirama: "Wait… why would Tsunade have hemophobia? A ninja who's afraid of blood is practically useless."

Namikaze Minato: "I know about this. Tsunade-sama is the greatest medical ninja in history, but… she wasn't able to save Senju Nawaki and Kato Dan when they were fatally wounded. The trauma broke her, and she developed hemophobia as a result."

Senju Tobirama: "Sigh… So that's how it is. To have the best medical ninjutsu, yet still be unable to save the ones closest to you… I can see why she'd be affected."

Senju Hashirama: "@Lucas, this is a deep wound for Tsunade. Maybe reincarnating them could help her move on!"

Outside World

Lucas looked at Tsunade seriously and finally nodded.

"Alright. I accept your request. If you want them to be reincarnated, I can do it."

Tsunade's eyes widened with hope. "Really?"

Lucas nodded. "Of course. Now, go dig up their graves."

Tsunade: "…"

She knew Lucas was just stating the requirements for Impure World Reincarnation. But still… the phrasing sounded awful.

After taking two steps forward, Tsunade suddenly paused.

She turned back to Lucas and let out a long sigh.

"Forget it, Lord Lucas. I don't want to reincarnate them anymore."

Lucas blinked. "Why?"

Tsunade's expression turned solemn. "They're already resting in peace… and the thought of digging up their graves and disturbing their bodies—it doesn't sit right with me."

Lucas stayed silent, watching her.

Tsunade took a deep breath.

"Impure World Reincarnation doesn't really bring people back to life. It manipulates their souls while desecrating their corpses. That's… not something I can do to them."

She looked at Minato and continued, "Even if they were brought back… they wouldn't be alive. They wouldn't have their full human senses. It would just be suffering."

Namikaze Minato nodded in agreement. "That's true. To exist as an Impure World Reincarnation is nothing more than being a tool. Second Hokage didn't create this technique for personal resurrection—its only purpose is as a weapon."

Tsunade met Minato's gaze and said softly, "You can live like this because you have a purpose—to protect the village and Naruto. But if Nawaki and Kato Dan came back… what would they do? Just stay by my side? That's not life… that's torture. I can't be selfish and make them suffer for my sake."

Lucas looked at her for a long moment before smirking.

"Didn't expect you to be so mature about it."

Tsunade chuckled bitterly. Then, as if remembering something, her eyes suddenly sharpened.

"You said earlier that you now have the power of the Sage of Six Paths…"

Lucas raised an eyebrow. "Yeah?"

Tsunade took a step forward, eyes filled with hope. "So, can you actually bring them back to life?"

Lucas sighed. "You really don't give up, huh?"

Tsunade clenched her fists. "If it's possible—"

Lucas held up a hand to stop her. "Let's say I can bring them back. Even if I do—are you sure they can accept it?"

Tsunade frowned. "Why wouldn't they?"

Lucas crossed his arms. "Think about it. How long have they been dead?"

Tsunade's breath caught. "…More than 20 years."

Lucas nodded. "Exactly. Twenty years. But if I bring them back, they'll return at the same age as when they died. Think about what that means."

Tsunade was stunned, confused. "What does it mean?"

Lucas smirked.

"It means Senju Nawaki will wake up and realize all his old friends are middle-aged men in their thirties…"

Tsunade's face paled.

"And Kato Dan? He'll wake up and find out that his lover is now more than 20 years older than him. You think they'll be able to handle that?"

Tsunade's expression went blank as she imagined the scenario.

A teenage Nawaki awkwardly facing his now grown-up friends.

And Kato Dan—who died young—standing next to Tsunade, who was now a fully grown woman in her fifties.

The image was… horrifying.

She suddenly understood.

Letting them rest in peace was kinder.

After a long silence, Tsunade let out a deep sigh and dropped the idea completely.

Some things were just… better left undisturbed.
