Chapter 4 - Development n shit

I have been staying at Sunspear these past 2 weeks and saying that I'm enjoying my time with these people would be an understatement. As soon as we arrived, Doran was there and when he found out about what I did, he tried to get on his knees to thank me for saving his family. I could see that this family truly loved each other which was rare considering the world I was in.

Sunspear was not what I expected, if you could get past their sexual advances it was very pleasant. Especially Oberyn, that man never gave up no matter how many times I told him I liked women. I spent most of my time with Ashara, Elia, and the little Rhaenys. That kid was a bundle of joy that started calling me uncle after a week and she loved the stories I told her. Especially the stories of the Valkyries I fought with, masters of the spear that could even challenge her uncle the "Red Viper".

However, I spent the rest of my time organizing my memories and analyzing my strength. Turns out the mana levels in this world are close to 0. I couldn't circulate mana around my heart and form aura so I quickly realized that it'll be impossible for now and that the world's mana levels need to become higher for that to occur. However, that doesn't make me vulnerable, my physical strength and techniques are probably second to none. But that doesn't mean I can be complacent so I woke up every day at dawn to train with my longsword "Tyranny" that was given to Ramiel, or should I say me by my father. No one knows the history of this sword but all I know is that it is unbreakable and can cut through magic.

Today at noon while in the middle of my daily pull-ups, I see all the Martells entering the courtyard. This is the first time they see me without my helmet on. I kept my hair in my helmet and when we ate I opened my helmet visor a bit to eat. I did this just in case of any sneak attacks, I'm confident in my abilities but my head is one of the only truly vulnerable areas for me. To say they were shocked was an understatement, Ashara and Elia started blushing, Oberyn licked his lips suspiciously while Doran just sighed at his brother's antics.

-"You hid your face from us for so long that we thought you were hideous. Not that I mind if you're ugly. But this is a pleasant surprise." exclaimed Oberyn

-"Won't you just give up, I told you I prefer the company of women." I told him while wiping the sweat off my forehead.

-"He's right brother, stop trying to bed him." Elia says while smacking Oberyn over his head

Doran deciding he had enough of his brother decides to speak.

-" Apologies for disturbing your training Lord Ramiel, we just wanted to tell you that there's a banquet tomorrow in your honor since you're leaving after tomorrow for Essos."

-"Thank you for your hospitality, my Lord, I'll be sure to attend, it's a banquet in my honor after all."

Oberyn tired of all this useless talk screams

-"Enough of all this boring talk, you've been training here for 2 weeks, I think it's time we fight."

says Oberyn menacingly like the Red Viper he is.

I just smile a smile that one would give to a child and tell him to attack.

While everyone goes to the side, he steps into the arena and goes into an attacking stance.

I decided to help Oberyn with a fatal flaw of his while making this fight more enjoyable so I decided to pick up a spear.

Oberyn looks at me dumbfounded for a second then his face contorts into anger.

"How dare you look down at me and not go with your main weapon against me, just because you're good with a sword you think you can use a spear."

-"I don't need to use a sword against you." I say condescendingly while looking down at him

That seemed to anger him more as he decided to go on the offense losing all common sense. While I am a master of the sword, I am still capable with the spear and he isn't focusing so I easily parry all his attacks and kick him in the chest. The kick lands him a few meters away dirtying his clean clothes brown

"It seems the red Viper should be called the brown worm instead," I say while laughing at his state.

That seemed to be the last straw as Oberyn got up and unleashed a flurry of killer moves, however, they were very predictable.

-"HOW DARE YOU CALL ME A WORM?"

Meanwhile, I'm just silently dodging or parrying his attacks looking at him with the most stoic expression.

After attacking nonstop for a few minutes he gets tired and goes to his knees looking at his hands.

"Why aren't any of my attacks working? Is he better at the spear than me?"

-"No, You're definitely the better spear wielder.

He looks up and I'm there looking down at him

"You let a few petty words from your opponent rile you up, that's why you lost. Not cause I'm better. Attacking blindly with no plan, of course, you were bound to get tired and lose."

I give him my hand and pick him up.

"I just wanted to show you your biggest flaw, know that if you don't learn to rein your temper in, you will die because of it someday. Not because the opponent was better but because you were careless."

He looks as if I just enlightened him for a few moments, but then returns to his mischievous look.

-" Gods..... I need to bed you, just one night, one hour. You might even like it"

I just give him an exasperated look and turn around to find Ashara with a cup of water

-"I thought you might be thirsty after the spar" She looks at me with a smile on her face

I take the cup and start drinking

-"Thank you, my lady"

-"I thought we agreed to call each other by our first names"

says Ashara while pouting which just makes her look adorable.

-"Sorry...Ashara"

That seemed to make her happier judging by her smile.

"So Ashara, are you going to the banquet tonight?"

-"Of course, I'll be there, someone needs to liven things up."

-"Oh I'm sure you're the center of attention wherever you go"

she blushes a little but doesn't back down

-"So, did I grab your attention Ramiel?"

-"Well Ashara, since this banquet is in my name I'm going to need a companion."

I take her right hand and ask

"Would you do me the honor of attending the banquet with me tonight?"

She seems shocked by my request but quickly recovers and accepts.

-"Well look at those two flirting like no one is around, hahahahahaha"

Says Oberyn from his place having witnessed the whole interaction.

I just ignore him and leave to get ready for the banquet.

POV: Lord Rickard Stark, Warden of the North

It seems the reports were true after all, a small army with men wearing plate armor did appear right next to Wintertown. However, the good thing is that they don't look intent on attacking us.

I spot a middle aged man surrounded by two others approaching the gates while leaving the army behind. The man then stopped a good distance seemingly waiting for something. Understanding his meaning I waste no time.

-"Someone call for Brandon and Cassel and tell them to get ready with their horses, it seems our guests want to talk."

I then turn around and go to my chambers to fetch my sword, hopefully I wouldn't need it but you never know.

Approaching these men with my heir and my most loyal man I start inspecting them, noticing their fancy armor and weapons I reckon they're southerners but I don't recognize their banners or sigils, they seem to have deep engravings on their armor of different animals and patterns. I look up to see that they seem just as confused as us when they see the stark direwolf banner behind us. However, the man in the middle quickly breaks the ice when he sees that everyone seems confused.

-"Good day Sers, my name is James Daubeny, a commander serving under his excellency Lord of Wyverndale and we seem to have gotten seperated from our Lord during battle. It must have been the work of evil magic. Can you tell us where in Heathmoor we are located, and on who's land we currently are?

-'Heathmoor? What is that? Did he say magic?

"Well met Ser Daubeny, I am Lord Rickard Stark warden of the North and you are currently in my lands. We are currently on the continent of Westeros and I can't say I have ever heard of a place called Heathmoor".

I see a look of surprise which turns into sadness but he quickly hides it.

-"It seems the situation is much worse then I anticipated my Lord, I believe we have much to discuss".

-"I believe we do"

Turning to my masters-at-arms I ask him to go get some bread and salt for guest rights. It seems this isn't a simple conversation to be had.

North of the wall

In the lands of always winter where the snow is so severe that you can't even see, a coffin seems to be shaking. Around it, thousands of white walkers gather waiting the arrival of their king

A being that slept for thousands of years awakens, however this time the Night king isn't the same as we know him. This time a tyrant awakens. A practitioner of blood and dark magic has taken his place.

The coffin opens up and the being inside slowly rises, his right eye the same icy blue it always had, however, his left eye is now blood red, a testament to how many people the new owner of the body had killed. The being slowly starts to move muttering the same indistinct thing over and over again, The terrifying existence then approaches a big heart tree and when it finally reached it's destination, it suddenly rips a branch off which transforms into a big staff with a skull as it's handle.

-"I am back...HAHAHAHAHA"
