Wan Tianning was soaking her feet in the village creek.
Children surrounded her, along with some young men and women, pointing and laughing while discussing her.
Yet, she didn't feel embarrassed at all, still splashing her jade-like white feet in the clear water.
She had looked into it; the creek water could be used for washing clothes, but it's not drinkable.
People used to drink from it, but now every household has installed piped water, so no one drinks from the creek anymore.
Otherwise, she wouldn't have dared to wash her feet in it.
"Miss Wan, so many people are watching you, aren't you going to head back?" Lan came over and asked quietly.
Wan Tianning replied, "How many people are there? When I used to hold concerts, weren't there thousands of people each time? If I get stage fright at such a small scene, how can I be a celebrity?"
