Annabelle Hughes's family initially wanted to take the opportunity of both families sitting down for a meal to finalize the wedding details.
Getting the marriage license in such a high-profile way, there had to be a grand wedding!
But the Summers Family, for some reason, showed no intention, and the latter part of the meal was eaten absentmindedly, ending early.
In the end, they exchanged polite farewells.
As soon as they got in the car, Mr. Hughes and Mrs. Hughes's expressions changed.
Even the usually gentle Mrs. Hughes couldn't help but complain, "The whole dinner was unbearably awkward, Grace, what on earth is happening? You're already married, but they never mentioned the wedding! What happened afterward? They were all so distracted. I asked Haley if the salmon was good, and he said medium rare was enough!
