The props master saw Lorraine Hughes not defending herself and spoke more harshly, "Hughes, I've told you long ago that these shoes are a new model from Givasa not yet on the market, did you do it on purpose?"
Lorraine Hughes had already stood up. Egbert Fenton, just out of the scene, fetched Lorraine's original shoes and placed them in front of her. Lorraine quietly thanked him.
Stella Lowe was dusting off her clothes, and without much thought, said, "It's not like Belle was dancing in them. How could she break the heel on a pair of high heels?"
"What do you mean? Are you suggesting I deliberately made things difficult for her?"
"A broken shoe needs a reason, doesn't it?" Stella meaningfully glanced at Annabelle Hughes's assistant, "Check the surveillance, I don't care who pays the tens of thousands, but Belle isn't taking the fall for this!"
Stella got all serious, really showing some authority.
