Lorraine Hughes was not at all swayed by Nathan Bolton's charm. She sidestepped him and skillfully settled on the couch in his living room.
She took out a pair of emerald rings and pushed them in front of Nathan Bolton.
"Giving these back to you."
"They were a gift." He had no intention of taking back something he had given her. Besides, these were practically their token of love.
"They don't suit me."
"..." Nathan Bolton pinched the bridge of his nose. "I must have overlooked that. You didn't sell them for cash, did you?"
"Someone's searching everywhere for these emerald rings. Why don't you take them back?"
"Who?"
"Ethan Bolton," Lorraine Hughes said honestly. After all, he would find out sooner or later.
"Belle, let me explain. Actually..."
Lorraine Hughes crossed her arms over her chest. Her almond-shaped eyes sparkled as they fell on the man before her. Her red lips parted lightly, "Go on, Prince Bolton."
"You know?"
"Yes."
