Two hours later, Lorraine Hughes emerged from the emergency room, still draped in a white lab coat, with a hint of redness at the corners of her eyes.
The Scott family ignored her and asked Dean Morris, who was behind her, "Dean, how is Ingrid?"
Dean Morris, in an official manner, replied, "Her life has been saved. The doctors are stitching her up. After 24 hours in the intensive care unit, she can be moved to a regular ward."
"Thank you, Dean. I would love to personally thank the doctor who saved her!" Mr. Scott said, casting a provocative glance at Lorraine Hughes.
As expected, age and experience are indeed linked!
A young girl still wet behind the ears, acting like some miracle doctor!
"Ha," Dean Morris smirked, "If it wasn't for Dr. Hughes stepping in to help, Miss Scott would've been beyond saving."
"Dean Morris, this is not the time for jokes."
