Chapter 4 - 4. Meetup

After leaving the dormitory building of Sandy and Karah's, I went back to my car, it was dark out so it was giving me scary vibes but it was fine by me, but talking to Mikayla about the confession thing and her liking for Karah was...actually the first time we bonded over one thing. As I walked to my car, I pulled out my phone to see that it was 8:49 pm, I still had time to go meet Mitchell at a coffee shop. As I got into my car, putting down my bag in the passenger seat. I start the car and drove off. I turned on the Bluetooth stereo in my car and connected my phone to it. I started playing Moonstar88's Migraine. I didn't really know why I picked that song but it's probably because I grew up in the Philippines before I moved to America after I graduated the twelfth grade. Or either because the lyrics really are relatable for me because of the past relationships I had back then. I still hate thinking about the time that one of my exes just talked about other boys when we were talking to each other, messaging even, during the great pandemic era that has stuck with us for like four and a half-ish years. And I'm glad I moved out of the Philippines, since it's still like, being handled by a son of a dictator. Jesus, I just can't help but think of the question, Do Filos really have a fetish for thieves? But, eh, I don't wanna think about that. I feel bad for the youth in the country. The best hope is that Martial Law doesn't happen again. While I was thinking about those things, the song finished and moved on to Valley's Sports Car. Almost half of the songs I have in my playlist are relatable as fuck. But I don't mind.

8:58 pm, at the parking lot of Ficca Coffee Shop

I got out of my car and locked it. I walked to the automatic door of the shop and looked for Mitchell. As I looked around, I saw him sitting at the back of the shop. The last booth, reading something on his phone. I walked over to the booth he was sitting at and sat down on the other side, the seat was rather hard, but for some reason comfortable?

"Heyy, Mitch." I said as I started a conversation with him, "How's the ol' girlfriend of yours?"

"She's just at home, watching something on Netflix on the smart TV." He answered my question

"Oh, that's nice. I envy you." I say, then adding, "I need your help with something."

"Is that the only reason you messaged me to meet you here?" he said

"No, I'm just waiting for you to give the mangas back to me," I say, sarcastically, "but still, I need your help."

"Hm?"

"You're good with girls, right?" I ask

"Yeah..? so?" he says

"I need some advice on how to confess plus I need gift ideas."

"To whom are you confessing to?" He asked me

"You know Kassandra Schmidt, right?"

"Wait. The Kassandra Schmidt?"
