A couple of days have gone by since the fight between AFO and All Might ended, but the thing is, mom and dad haven't come home since they left for their weeklong vacation. I don't think they are the kind of people who won't do as they say.
If they are going to be late, I can work on the bakery items that we sell and learn how to bake them by the time they return. As I was thinking about stuff to do later, the doorbell rang. Thinking that it might be them, I ran downstairs and opened the door to greet them, saying, "Wel..." but I couldn't finish my greetings as the person who rang the bell was not mom and dad. But before I could speak, the man asked me a question.
"You are Haruto Kageyama, right?"
"Yes, and who might be asking?"
"I'm Tsukauchi Naomasa; I'm a police officer. If you could please come with me,
"I'm sorry, I can't come with a stranger, even if he's an officer." After saying that, I started to close the door. 'I know this guy; isn't he a friend of All Might? What's he doing here?'
"Look, kid, it's about your parents."
"What happened to them?"
"They are in a hospital; the details will be shared by your mother. Now, if you could go change and come with me,
As soon as he said that, I went to change my clothes and left the house with him. 'I had my doubts that they were some old-time big heroes. But if my assumptions are true, then I've got a mark on my back courtesy of AFO.' I thought about all the worst scenarios that may happen at the hospital, like dad and mom being injured to the point of no recovery, dad being in a coma, or the worst possible outcome. Thinking about all of this, my eyes became bloodshot with tears.
Seeing me crying, Tsukauchi spoke to me, "Hey, don't cry; nothing has happened to your parents. It's just that their friend is in the hospital, and they want you to meet him, and they have a surprise for you."
When I heard that, I looked at him and said, "Couldn't you have said that earlier? You just said that my mom and dad are in the hospital, and my mom will speak to me about it. YOU. JUST. SCARED. SHIT. OUT. OFF. ME. MAN." I screamed the last part.
Looking at me with an apologetic face, he said, "Look, I'm sorry. I was in a rush to get you to the hospital, so I forgot that part."
"Yeah.. right."
After that, silence enveloped the car. I can't believe that I jumped to conclusions just by hearing that they were in the hospital. As I was thinking about the embarrassing episode in my life, we reached the hospital.
Getting out of the car, we walked into the hospital and went straight to the seventh floor in the lift. Until reaching the seventh floor, he didn't say anything towards me, but as the lift opened, he said, "You are going to meet someone of importance, so don't blurt out what you see here to anyone, okay?"
"Alright." 'I think I know who the friend of theirs will be, but I don't understand what the surprise will be for me.'
After getting confirmation from me, he started to walk down the corridor, so I followed him, and we reached a room.
Opening the room, I was met with a hug from mom. I recognised her as soon as she hugged me, and she said, "Did you miss us?"
"Yeah, I did."
"Good. If you didn't, we were thinking about increasing your training."
When I heard that, I trembled a little. Even if I have taken the modified Super Soldier serum, I won't be able to last that kind of training one more time.
"No, thank you."
"Really now? Are you sure?"
"Yes, ma'am."
"That's enough teasing him, Hina, and give him some room to breathe." Dad said that by patting her shoulder.
"Yes."
Not waiting for their next conversation, I asked them, "So why are you here in a hospital?"
"Ahh. Well, we have a friend who has been injured after fighting a villain, so we came to see him. So I suggested showing you to him."

After speaking for a couple of minutes, we left the room and went to another room. Upon reaching there, dad knocked on the door and entered even before getting an answer from inside, so we walked in. Inside the room was Gran Torino in the flesh; he was sitting on the bed, and Sir Nighteye, Recovery Girl, and Nezu were sitting on the chairs available. From this line-up, the only one missing is All Might. Maybe he already left; I don't know.
As we entered the room, mom closed the door and said to me, "Haru, that's our old friend Torino Sorahiko, also known as Gran Torino, and Tori, this is our son Haruto."
"Nice to meet you." I said, looking at Gran Torino.
Hearing the introduction, others also looked at me and observed, and a second later, Gran Torino said, "Nice to meet you, kid."
After that, he just sat there, observing me. And silence was broken by Nezu. "I didn't know the Shadow King and Queen adopted a kid."
"Come on, Nezu, you know we left that life behind."
"I know; I just thought about it, that's all."
"That guy is Nezu; he's the principal of UA." Dad said to me:.
Looking at him, I said, "Hi."
"This is also one of our friends, Shūzenji Chiyo, also known as Recovery Girl. And lastly, the young man is Sir Nighteye; he's the side kick of All Might."
"Hello." I greeted both of them.
Then there was an uncomfortable silence as Sir Nighteye just kept staring at me. So to lighten the mood a bit, I joked, saying, "I'm straight."
When they heard that, all of them had different reactions. Mom and dad's mouths were agape, Gran Torino spurted out the water he was drinking, Nezu was smiling uncontrollably, and Recovery Girl just gave a sigh. Sir Nighteye went wide-eyed for a sec before calming down.
Coming out of her shocked state, mom spoke to me, "Haruto, come with me. I have a surprise for you."
"Really?"
"Yep, really, now let's go."
She said that she dragged me out of the room and went to another room where there was a girl of age four sitting on the bed sobbing. Confused, I looked at Mom for answers. Seeing my look, she asked me, "Don't you remember the promise we made to you when we adopted you after meeting with your parents?"
When I heard that, my eyes went wide, and I asked her, "Don't tell me, is she?"
"Yes, she's your biological sister. She's quirkless, and just like you, they left her at an orphanage. Adn, since we have been keeping track of their movements, we were able to adopt your sister too."
Hearing all this, I started to tear up and asked her, "Does she know she has a brother?"
"We did tell her. But she's still hung upon your biological parents."
"That's alright, I can change that."
I said that I went inside the room and stood in front of her and said, "Hi."
Hearing me, she was startled a little bit, but she went back to crying, looking at me, and said, "Mama said my big brother died."
Well, that was obvious; they even created a death certificate for me after all.
"How did you know that I'm your big brother?"
When I asked her that, she searched through her little back pack and showed me a picture of me at the age of four and said, "I saw this in the house."
Seeing that, I couldn't shake my head, and I asked her, "Will you come and live with your big brother?"
"Will you leave me like Papa and Mama did?" When I heard that, I lost all my bearings, hugged her tightly, and whispered, "I won't leave my little sister like that."
"Thank you." Then she slowly started to sleep on my hand's

After making sure she's asleep, I laid her down on the bed and asked Axeel, 'Hey, x. Scan her and give me a detailed report.'
[Yes, sir] With saying that some of the Axles nanobots entered her system and started to scan

"You said he's quirkless, right?"
"Yes, what about it? Even if he's quirkless, he's a prodigy in martial arts, I say."
