Cain noticed the golden glow blooming in Meylin's eyes, and a wide smile spread across his face. Thanks to the Imperium Dream, their primordial essences were now fully connected, allowing them to share powers and unique abilities. That link elevated their strength to an entirely new level—and Cain knew it would only grow stronger the more the Imperium evolved.
"If I could implant Scarlet Suns in others," Cain thought, "and share their unique abilities… my power would skyrocket at terrifying speed."
The idea tempted him, but he immediately shook his head. To forge a single Scarlet Sun required fragments of his primordial essence—a process so taxing that it could cripple anyone else. Even with the Imperium Dream guiding him, the only reason he had survived the process was because his True Name was already teetering on the edge of evolving toward the Alpha-Omega Overgod's Realm. Attempting it again would almost certainly plunge him into a coma he might never awaken from.
