In the silence, Charlotte Allison gently massaged his hand for a while before asking, "Feeling better?"
Lucas Quinn nodded, "Mmm hmm."
Charlotte Allison tousled his hair and said, "Go to sleep."
Thinking about the little one staying up late to wait for her, she couldn't help but smile softly.
Lucas Quinn, seeing Charlotte Allison wasn't heading back to her room but instead walking towards the kitchen, asked, "Charlotte, are you hungry?"
Charlotte Allison turned back to see him hugging a pillow and looking at her eagerly for an answer. She chuckled slightly and replied, "Yes, there's some toast in the fridge. Do you want some?"
Lucas Quinn put down the pillow, got up, and as he walked over he said, "Toast isn't very nutritious. Let me see what's in the fridge and whip something up for you. There's some fruit on the coffee table, have some to start with."
