"Oh, the wooden box you're talking about..."
Charlotte Allison paused calmly for a moment, as if thinking, with her eyes lowered.
Then she said, "I remember seeing several at the old family estate in Lochester, but inside there weren't any jewelry; rather, there were some blueprints and such."
Hazel Allison heard these words that seemed to be spoken unintentionally, and a flash of joy appeared in her eyes. She thought she hid it well, but in reality, Charlotte had seen through it all along.
"Alright, then please ask someone to find it and send it over for me."
"Okay."
"Sis, it's almost noon; how about we have lunch together at our usual place?"
Hazel always managed to act as if nothing had happened before.
But Charlotte looked at the time and reminded her, "You have less than a minute left."
"Sister, will you come to my wedding with Edward?" she asked in a weak tone, as if admitting fault.
"I will."
"Thank you, sister."
"You have ten seconds left."
