As Charlotte Allison entered the room, she noticed the slight sway of the wooden curtain at the back. Through the gaps in the wood-colored curtain, she could vaguely see someone sitting behind it, but the view was obscured.
Who could that be?
Charlotte Allison felt a slight sense of curiosity but quickly looked away.
She discreetly scanned the people sitting in the vast living room.
The Moss Estate's living room had a classic, elegant aesthetic with a prominent wooden theme, giving it a refined and natural feel.
The wooden curtain at the back created a space that wasn't completely enclosed but offered some privacy. In the front were wooden tables, chairs, and a tea table with someone specifically assigned to brew tea. Mr. Moss and several older guests sat on wood chairs with soft cushions, sipping tea and chatting.
"Grandfather, Grandmother, this is the friend I mentioned to you, Charlotte Allison. She's here to say hello," Miss Moss introduced.
