The Chalmers Family had newly transported a batch of seasonal seafood from the sea. Mrs. Chalmers casually mentioned this during afternoon tea chat, and one of the ladies said she was craving it. Mrs. Chalmers immediately suggested inviting everyone over for a seafood feast.
Eason Chalmers also invited a few friends over and was chatting with them when Charlotte Allison arrived. He overheard a friend asking, "Eason, has Mr. Allison broken up?"
Eason Chalmers replied, "No way, that's impossible. Charlotte and her husband are very much in love. You guys should stop spreading rumors."
The friends looked as if they'd seen a ghost:
"No way, Eason. You're calling him brother-in-law? Is Mr. Allison really going to marry that poor student?"
