Polly Sutton took her to a coffee shop, which was quite empty and quiet at the moment.
Polly Sutton looked at the coffee menu and asked, "Do you like coffee?"
Ella Simms nodded, "I do."
"Kids who grow up abroad seem to all like coffee, rarely drinking sugar water or milk, right?"
Ella Simms didn't understand what Polly Sutton meant, but she still nodded, "Don't like them."
Polly Sutton closed the menu and called the waiter over, "Could you please bring me a cup of black coffee, no milk no sugar, and also a cup of sugar water, a cup of milk, and finally a cappuccino."
The waiter was stunned for a moment, never having seen such an order.
"I'll pay for four cups," Polly Sutton said before the waiter left.
"Polly, coffee without anything added is very bitter," Ella Simms quietly reminded.
"Have you tasted it?"
Ella Simms hastily shook her head, "No, but that's what others say."
"Unrequited love is also a painful thing, others would say that too, what do you think?"
