Polly Sutton noticed Victor Parker's shifting expressions and felt he must have misunderstood something serious.
Sure enough, Victor realized his mistake, awkwardly letting her go, "Those things I basically..."
Before Victor could back away, Polly pulled him back by the collar, "President Parker, did you just get all worked up thinking about things you shouldn't?"
To get him that riled up, it must be that kind of issue.
"What was I thinking? Anyway, when you're talking outside, don't say things with ambiguous meanings that could lead to misunderstandings," Victor lectured seriously.
Polly clicked her tongue, "Who misunderstood what? Was it wrong to say President Parker really isn't great with household affairs?"
Victor diverted, "I think it's about time to tell them about the child; we can't keep dragging it on."
Polly held Victor's face to keep his eyes from wandering, "Speak, continue speaking, what was the misunderstanding just now?"
