"Did you think it twice before embarrassing me?" I hissed, my voice sharp with fury and pain.
Jake's eyes softened, guilt flashing across his face. "I'm sorry, Aurora. I just couldn't control myself… You were looking too damn beautiful."
Before I could respond, he closed the distance between us. His hands cupped my cheeks, and without warning, he crashed his lips onto mine. It wasn't just a kiss it was a storm. A claim. A desperate cry for forgiveness. And when he realized I wasn't pulling away, he deepened the kiss, teasing me, tasting me like I was the sweetest sin.
When he finally pulled back, I was breathless, gasping as my heart pounded in my chest.
"I love you, Aurora," he murmured against my lips. "I want you. I don't know what you've done to me… But I'm all yours. Will you be my girlfriend?" My body stiffened. I tried to slip away, but Jake was faster. He gripped my waist and pinned me gently against the wall, his breath brushing against my skin.
"Look at me," he whispered, voice low and commanding. "Look into my eyes." I hesitated.
"Tell me you don't feel anything when I touch you," he dared, his gaze burning into mine. "Tell me my kisses don't spark something inside you. Just tell me, Aurora."
I blinked rapidly, my heart aching from how much I had held back. The truth clawed its way up my throat.
"Yes," I said, my voice trembling. "Yes, I love you. I love you so much, Jake. I want to be your woman yours and yours only." A victorious smile curved his lips as he cupped my face again and kissed me, slow and deep. There was no rush, no force only passion, and raw, undiluted emotion. His lips tasted like desire and devotion, his tongue moving in sync with mine. It was electric, magnetic. I melted into his arms, responding with every ounce of feeling I had buried for far too long.
When we finally parted, he leaned his forehead against mine. "Thank you, Aurora. You've just made me the happiest man alive. I love you. So much."
"Can we go home now?" he asked with a soft smile. "You're riding with me. I already asked Bruce to leave I want to drive you myself."
I raised a brow, smirking. "Oh? And how were you so sure I'd say yes to your proposal?"
Jake chuckled, his fingers brushing my jaw. "Because I know you. I've always known you loved me you just didn't have the courage to say it."
I playfully smacked his chest, cheeks burning. "That's enough, let's get going."

Jake and I had successfully completed college with flying colors. While I was still deep in my surgical training because let's face it, becoming a top surgeon takes years Jake had taken the business world by storm. My man now owned one of the largest tech companies on the planet.

A proud blend of Scott and Aurora. Our names. Our empire. I smiled every time I saw it. Jake lived alone in a stunning estate he purchased not long ago. Sadash,Jake's Mom, stayed with me at our parents' house but visited Jake regularly sometimes even spending the night when he needed the company.
"Sadash!" I called.
"Yes, dear?" she replied, poking her head out from her room. "I'm going over to Jake's… Might stop by Angel's on the way."
"Okay, bye darling! Be safe!"
"I always am." I leaned in, kissed her forehead, grabbed my keys, and stepped out.
I wore a sleeveless flared dress in a striking royal purple that hugged my waist and flowed just above my knees. My curls cascaded down my shoulders. I had one mission today to impress my man.

Pulling up to his mansion, I exhaled. The estate was as breathtaking as ever. The gardens were trimmed to perfection, fountains bubbling softly under the sun, and the driveway was lined with exotic cars. Every bit of the place screamed wealth… but what made it home was him.
As I stepped out of the car, the butler appeared at the entrance, bowing slightly.
"Welcome, madam," he greeted warmly. "Sir is waiting for you in the living room."
