Hadina's words had caused Aurianna to be embarrassed so she simply stared at the sea avoiding the suspicious gazes she was getting.
Christopher narrowed his eyes as he took a step closer to Batholem, who had been acting odd ever since Aurianna denounced being married to Hadina. Batholem's shoulders were stiff, but he had a bit of a satisfied smile on his face.
"What is the relieved look for Batholem?" Christopher asked staring at him intensely
Batholem's eyes darted left and right before landing on Christopher's face. His lips twitched, forming a nervous smile that fooled absolutely no one.
"Oh nothing," Batholem shook his head and let out a nervous chuckle.
