Luke didn't completely believe his words. What he needed to figure out now was whether the other was truly injured or faking it.

And was the extent of the injury really as severe as he said?

"Which hospital did you see for the gunshot wound? Why were you discharged so quickly?"

Little William Moses shrugged, stammering, "A nameless small clinic."

Luke raised an eyebrow, "A black market clinic?"

Little William Moses said nothing, which was equivalent to admitting it.

"Being shot is no small matter, why did you seek treatment at a black market clinic?"

"Because I don't want to cause trouble."

"What trouble?"

"Come on, we all know."

"I don't know, so you'd better explain clearly."

Little William Moses pinched his forehead with his hand, and after a while said, "That clinic was relatively close to where I got injured, so they took me there nearby."
