When Si Huangquan arrived at the Cold Spring, the River God of the Cold Spring, Shen Youhan, was directing the Dead Spirit army under his command, straining with all his might to repel the Phoenix Clan's assault.
He was somewhat at his wits' end.
The Water God's Divine Army was attacking Feng Spring, forcing the Black Water Sovereign and the Blood Sea Ancestor to withdraw the vast majority of the reinforcements they had sent, to be used in defending Feng Spring, leaving only one Shen Buxun and the reinforcements under him from the hundred worlds of the Demon Realm Blood Domain.
This reduced the defensive strength of the Cold Spring to its weakest point.
The Lord of the Cold Spring not only had to resist the Phoenix Clan's Ten Thousand Birds Army, but also had to avoid being tracked down in his true body and ambushed by top experts of the Phoenix Clan such as the Nine Phoenix, the Vermilion Bird, and Ying Huo.
