'That godly bastard did it again…!'
Kronos shouted within his mind. As his mind continued to race, memories of his past life resurfaced. And though they were not as clear as you'd imagine they still indicated that before crossing over Kronos was a normal person who had simply died a tragic death.
Regaining his self awareness he then finally took notice and absorbed his general situation. He was in a completely different world! Something many individuals had yearned for!
However, skimming through his memories he didn't seem to recall anything from his past life pertaining to the world he was currently in.
Taking note of both Garp and Luffy's attire and well of course, names it all brought out from within, a strong feeling of nostalgia as he had felt as though they had a great impact on his personal being in his past life.
But it didn't make sense to him since he doesn't even recall them being from any of the anime he had watched in his past life nor any of the novels he had read either.
Thinking about this, he grew silent. After remaining silent for an entire minute and more, Kronos sighed frustratingly as he ruffled his own hair crazily.
"Ughh! Forget it!" It seemed as though he had failed to remember anything about this world thinking that later on as he grew both his mind and physique he would eventually remember.
However what would he do if he knew that the real reason why he couldn't remember was because of the energy which had invaded and fed his body heaven defying nutrients, granting him power he has yet to unmask.
Yes, it was another doing of the godly being. But why would he alter Kronos's memories and make it harder for him to survive in this world you may ask?
Well because he wants Kronos to enjoy the surprises his journey would bring. If he were to have knowledge pertaining to the world as of this moment wouldn't it ruin the fun for both him and Kronos?
Now with that being out of the way Kronos decided to think towards his future. However he was rudely disrupted as Luffy pounced on him, hugging his face akin to a monkey grappling onto a tree with all fours.
Garp broke the remaining silence with his trademark laugh as both him and Luffy dragged Kronos into a somewhat chaotic scuffle.
An entire hour had passed before things had seemed to calm down. Garp decided to stay back a few days to observe his grandson and witness what these changes had granted him. Oh and about Luffy? Well he was fast asleep, tired from mentally exhausting himself by crying so much.
Garp stayed with Luffy at Dadan's house whereas Kronos used the excuse of wanting to get some fresh air to get away from everyone. He's not hateful towards them or anything he just has a lot of things to get sorted out as of this moment and the first thing was his future goals.
Truth be told Kronos had already chosen the path of piracy. But why would he pick piracy? Well because Kronos yearned for freedom.
To be free from rules and duty, to be freed from the lawful shackles of everyday life. He wished to be a man with absolutely no worries at all. Whether it may just be financially or even strength wise. He just wanted to be free.
Sitting on a thick tree branch attached to an ancient looking tree Kronos sat in a relaxing position with his head against the tree followed by his tattooed hands at the back of it acting as a cushion as his body slouched.
He wore a simple white t coupled with a black long pants and a pair of brown sandals. His silver white shoulder length hair fluttered gracefully with the passing breeze as he contemplated with closed eyes.
'Marine duty, bounty hunting and piracy. So far these are the paths I've got knowledge on. In my opinion while bounty hunting and marine duty have positive benefits the cons of it are what makes me look against it. That and the fact that my brother wants to become the Pirate King. Not saying I want the title, it's just that the thought of me either chasing Luffy down as a marine or killing him as a bounty hunter pains me. What kind of brother turns on his little bro?'

'Shut up! I'm older than him because of my past life as well!'
'With that being said, piracy is my best option; however, strength is the only problem that concerns me most. But that's where the 'gift' he's given me comes into play. I don't even know what it is myself. Yet, I can feel a destructive, burning power coursing through my veins merging with my cells whilst nurturing my body almost every second. I want to indulge myself but it is not time yet. I still need to sort out my plans for the future.'
'Well strength is partially covered at the moment so moving onto the next concern. Finding a strong and loyal crew. I need a companion who would share both life and death with me. Hmm, I'll just sail around and see whom I encounter that wishes to tag along with me. Okay then, it's mostly done. The last thing would be my fighting style. Though I'm really leaning towards swordsmanship I still need to test and evaluate myself to even see if my powers are suitable with swordsmanship.'
"OIIIIII! KRONOS BRAT, IT'S TIME FOR DINNER!!" A raspy voice rudely exclaimed, ringing Kronos's ears slightly.
That was when his eyes finally shot open. Taking notice of the sky immediately he finally saw its red luminance glistening whilst darkening, welcoming the wake of the beautiful moon.
"Well- I'll sort that out tomorrow, for now I should eat and get some rest. I know for sure I'll be busy as hell tomorrow either way. If it's anything I'll drag Sabo and Ace along with me as well. Nothing like having a few more test dummies!"
Kronos grinned maliciously while skipping innocently towards the wooden house.
[The next day]
Morning came as the golden rays of the sun dawned upon the once shadowy lands.Feeling the warm rays of sunlight on his skin Kronos's eyes opened abruptly with his icy-blue irises glowing beautifully under the sun's rays. He started his routine by stretching before freshening up and eating some breakfast.
Soon after, both he and Luffy headed towards a direction both were familiar with. In this direction, as they drew closer, a treehouse big enough to fit around 10 toddlers came into their line of sight.
Luffy grinned ruthlessly as he suddenly cracked his knuckles.
"Go easy on them." Kronos calmly said with a light smile on his face. Suddenly, Luffy's arms shot towards two distant trees indicating that he was going to launch himself towards the treehouse with the intention of issuing a challenge towards the dwellers within.
"Gomu Gomu No….."
Muttered Luffy with a deep tone. His eyes were covered by his hair yet, the frightening gaze it held was still felt nonetheless.
"Rocket!!"
And so, a hellish battle then went on to form!
