Chapter 3 - Local Market

He also easily grasp the knowledge from his previous life.

Chawnga was full of excitement even when they got home. They're living in a rented apartment which was slightly better than a kutcha house but a little worse than pucca house.

No matter what kind of house they're living in, if his parents are present and they feel comfortable with, then Chawnga was satisfied. He felt the most home when his parents are present, healthy and safe.

Chawnga greatest fear now is that all of these might just be a dream when he wakes up the next day.

As soon as he wakes up the next day, he check himself and then thought of a 100 yuan.

As the 100 yuan appeared in his hand his fear vanished instantly. He was relief that it was real. And not just a dream.

His tears fall unnoticed when he recalled in his mind, all the hardships he had gone through yet still ended in failure in his previous life, physically and mentally he was tired but never showing his weakness, he keeps living on hoping a miracle would happen.

He set his mind to make up to his parents for all the work they done in his previous life just to support a helpless son. And they aged quickly than their peers because of that. Just for the sake of their children, parents don't mind their appearance and even work themselves to the bone.

His health was not good and his body can't take much work in his previous life due to accident. He become completely useless.

He felt a tremendous guilt. He swore to himself to repay them in this life.

As he came back to his senses, he discovered his falling tears and quickly wiped away.

Chawnga hardly celebrate his birthday even in his previous life, so he get used to it.

Chawnga doesn't have to go to school as it was the weekends. He plans to buy something using the unlimited balance he had.

He can't buy a lot of things that could lead to suspicion. It was Saturday. He planned to buy it from the local market.

Local market are open only on Saturday morning. Normal markets are always open from morning to evening except on Sunday. Normal markets require transportation to reach as it needs a lot of time by foot. Whereas local markets can be easily reach without much need of transport even for kids.

Chawnga's parents also used to buy groceries from the local market. That morning Chawnga volunteered to buy groceries by himself. His parents dote in him and write a list for him to buy. They give him some money and let him go as he pleases.

Before going out of the house, he secretly put 10,000 AVS each in his mother's purse and father's wallet. He also put 20,000 AVS each on their account which he had seen in his previous life and remembered it using his ability. He also secretly put back the money they gave him to buy groceries because he don't need them.

He could put a lot more but that could lead to suspicion. So he couldn't put more. But can put them every month. The monthly rate of his father's salary in this time was 19,000 - 21,000 AVS depending on the Post he is placed. Post is a place where an individual is put for duty in the Police department.

Nobody doubt the boy in the market trying to buy the things written on a piece of paper, instead praise him for so considerate and reliable. The boy was Chawnga.

Robbing? Kidnapping? Nope. Not happening in this local area as they've all known each other. Even if some unknown individual or guest arrived, all eyes are on him/her. And there are NGOs everywhere. So it is impossible. It is a peaceful time. Some cases will happen only after 5 years.

Chawnga goes to the butcher to buy a beef. A meat cost 100 AVS/kg in this time, but after 15 years it will cost 500 to 1000 AVS depending on the meat.

He put his hands inside his pocket as if trying to take the money but secretly thought of 100 AVS and paid them.

An interface suddenly appears but before he had a clear view, he quickly hide it as he don't want to look like a person who spaces out in the middle of the market.

After buying all the goods from the list, he spend 300 AVS, the meat cost the most. His parents gave him 500 AVS which he secretly put back. So he needs to give 200 AVS back to his parents when he got home which he gladly do.

Sighed. He was frustrated that he couldn't spend as much as he want even though he has unlimited balance. He really needs a way to fix this.
