'Snow Cloud Peak' wasn't really thinking that much, but after overhearing Edna's conversation with those two Quel Senta Mages, Old Dog Snow got an idea to check things out... Whether those people are still alive or not, it's best to have a definite ending.
He can't be like the clueless bunch in adventure novels who don't even know if their teammates... even temporary ones... are alive or dead.

Also, 'Snow Cloud Peak' found it odd that they didn't encounter any enemies after falling into the underground cave this time!

Not even in a game or an adventure novel would an adventure team face no misfortune after misfortune~ How could they just comfortably wait in a cave until dawn?
More importantly, after working so hard for two days, how could they get just so little perks!
