He tried to scare Four.
Though it was meant to scare him, what he said was true. If the people of Sky City wanted to catch someone, it wouldn't take more than a word.
"Four, Big Brother is right. This is Sky City. We killed someone here, and that means…" Second gestured a throat-slitting motion that made Four gasp sharply.
"If the people of Sky City find out where we're from, do you think they'll let us go? It's not just about us—our families will be dragged to Sky City, forced into labor, jailed, or even executed!"
"Hiss!"
Four inhaled sharply again.
"Big Brother, Second Brother, what should we do? We have to rescue Old Five!"
But he couldn't help feeling that the woman wasn't going to be easy to catch. Just those two people who walked out of the inn earlier were trouble enough.
