Chapter 4 - Ch. 4 Training with Bardock

"Saiyan Transformations? I hope this is what I'm thinking it is" Tom thought, frantically opening his status.

Under the quest tab was a new tab that looked like the silhouette of someone's head, with spiky golden colored hair and bluish green eyes.

Tom quickly clicked on it , and what he saw made him smile. The new page had over seventy squares of all colors of the rainbow, branched together by lines from a grey square in the middle that represented his base form. It resembled a skill tree from Skyrim with much more items, and colors. He found out by looking at the figures in the boxes that these were all different transformations that he recognized from the Anime , Manga, and Movies of Dragonball. Even some that he didn't.

He immediately pressed on the yellow square that depicted Goku in his Super Saiyan form, and found that he fulfilled the minimum S-cell requirement of 500 , and could become a super saiyan by triggering his emotions.

For Tom this was great news. It meant that he could definitely attain any of these forms by fulfilling the requirements, even if he normally couldn't, all thanks to the system.Tom couldn't help but inwardly laugh .

" Hahaha. All of these forms can be mine. I can really become super OP! The strongest God form? The full Primal Power of the Saiyans? Even pushing the Legendary Super Saiyan form to its limits. Oh, and if I can combine forms as well to create new forms, it's over. It's all just a matter of time now."

"With this, I can easily become the strongest in my new life. I will not waste this opportunity,and I will take up other opportunities with my knowledge as well. I will reach new heights that not even Goku has seen before. I will fight for my people, and guide the story of Dragon Ball in a new direction, my direction.

In my last life, I was Tom. In this life, from now on, I am Raditz.

(AN: Unbeknownst to Tom, his new Saiyan soul is actually affecting him quite a lot. He now deeply loves the idea of fighting ,and getting stronger, and he will actually self identify with his Saiyan self from now on, in turn he will be referred to as Raditz now and not Tom. Him changing from Tom to Raditz is a representation of the way his mind is changing a bit, but Tom as whole is not completely gone now, just sort of in a suppressed state inside his own subconscious and soul.)

Now that Raditz was transferred to Bardock's House he had an opportunity to view the welfare of the Saiyans on Planet Vegeta. The buildings made of stone, and rocks gave off a less civilized and unadvanced vibe, but don't let that fool you. The Saiyans possessed super advanced technology, that they stole from other planets they conquered, and that were provided to them by the Frieza force, like their scouters.

Bardock's house was a simple Saiyan home that looked like a light brown stone hut with way too many green windows on it that allowed for natural lighting, since there were rarely artificial lights on planet vegeta except for the medical and training facilities. The interior was even simpler, with a kitchen area where the meat was kept and prepared, a dining area where the incubator was also kept, and one bedroom.

Feeling restless for action now, Raditz wanted out of the incubator, so when Gine and Bardock were done settling him in, he began to put his hand on the glass repeatedly while looking at them hoping that they'd let him out.

Gine saw this and thought that Raditz was reaching up to them cutely , so she also put her hands on the glass.

Raditz, seeing that she didn't get the message, began using a bit more force to the point that a thumping sound was made everytime he pressed the glass, and even made a face as if he was distressed about something, like someone with claustrophobia stuck in a tight space that wanted out.

"It looks like he wants to be let out, Gine." Bardock spoke, after realizing what Raditz wanted.

"Oh, so do you think it's okay to let him out so early, it hasn't even been 2 years yet." she replied with a voice of caution.

"Hmmm, should be fine, he looks pretty unhappy in there." he said while watching Raditz hit the incubator like a gorilla banging on the glass, like a gorilla at the zoo.

The saiyan parents let their young child out of the incubator. After wrapping his private area with a towel, leaving him with a piece of meat which he devoured, and Gine giving him a big hug, they left for a few minutes to find some saiyan armor that would fit him.

"Finally out of that damn thing"

After getting out of the incubator Raditz walked around a little to limber up and stretched his arms and legs. He currently had the Gravity Ring that he earned, unequipped in his inventory, and after being in the incubator so long he felt great, and full of energy.

Starting to shadow fight, he powered up a little, boosting his power level to a little over One thousand at the moment. His punches and kicks were inconceivable to the human eye, and he made sure to control his power enough so that nothing got destroyed as he seemingly disappeared and reappeared around the small living/dining room.

Raditz would then equip the Gravity Ring again, increasing the gravity from x10 earth gravity to x20, and would power up a bit more, doubling his previous power. He then continued to practice his skills, losing track of time.

Bardock and Gine were just getting back home , Gine had a small set of armor in hand. Although they couldn't sense Ki, they had above average senses, and felt some unusual pressure coming from the inside of their home. When they went inside, they found Raditz shadow fighting unexpectedly.

"Raditz!?" they both said simultaneously.

Raditz could sense them coming before they opened the door, but he decided to just continue to help them understand how advanced he was. After leaving him, seemingly just a crawling baby and coming back to this, needless to say they were extremely impressed. After a few moments he stopped, looking over and walking innocently towards them.

He approached his parents and reached up towards Gine, knowing that the armor was his. She was in shock but still helped him to put his armor on. Meanwhile, Bardock put the scouter on, and scanned Raditz's current power level.

"His Power Level is over 1000!" Bardock exclaimed.

Although it would normally be a pitifully low amount, for a brat like this, it was an insane number to Bardock, and that wasn't even his full power.

Hearing that his Father was checking his power level, Raditz now with his armor on just smirked at him and powered up even more, choosing to flex a bit as his aura spiked up"

"HEAAHHHH" the boy yelled.

"NANI!" Bardock yelled out, even more shocked now as the number skyrocketed from just over 1000 to an amazing 3000!.

(AN: I'm averaging out Bardock's power level from Father of Goku of 10,000 and Super of 4,500 for this universe, so it'll be 7,300 at present. Raditz being at 3000 right now would be pretty crazy for him. Vegeta right now is still only around one thousand. P.S. I'm also altering his personality just a bit. I feel that it makes him a bit more ruthless when fighting, even when training with his children.)

Both saiyan parents were speechless at the moment, their mouths hung agape before Raditz broke the silence.

"Bardock…Fight" he muttered to both his parent's surprise, as he got into a simple fighting stance. He spoke simply to seem less intelligent than he was, but still communicated that he wanted to fight him. This wasn't out of aggression though, he simply wanted to test his might against his father, a stronger opponent he could go all out against. Raditz planned to fight as many hard battles as possible to raise his power quickly.

Although Bardock was still wondering if this was a dream, the challenge from his son quickly brought him back to reality.

"This Brat" he thought.

"Alright" he said before getting into his own fighting stance. "Ready when you are, kid!"

Just when Bardock said that though, a huge growl came from Raditz's stomach, as he dropped his stance to crouch and massage his aching stomach.

"I'm Hungry!!" Raditz said loudly with watery eyes. It seemed the piece of meat he already ate really wasn't enough to satisfy him.

Bardock and Gine looked at each other for a couple of seconds before bursting out laughing at how the room full of tension quickly turned awkward then humorous due to their child's mood change.

"Alright, let's eat!" Gine spoke up, heading to the kitchen to whip up more food for the family.

Raditz followed her with a big laughing smile.

Bardock was thinking to himself while staring at Raditz, "Raditz, his power level was only 50 last time I checked, to think he'd become this powerful so soon. If I remember correctly even the king's son who's about the same age as him isn't even that strong. If the king is the type to be jealous, could this be dangerous for us? Hmm, what could the future hold for such a prodigy."

When he stopped thinking, he went and sat to eat with his family, calling it a night after finishing a big meal.

The next morning, Bardock took Raditz to a wasteland that was a bit far out from where they lived. He wanted to keep Raditz's power hidden as much as he could, but still wanted to train him to get even stronger.

"Alright Raditz, this is a good spot, we'll train here for a bit so show me what you've got" he said while getting into a stance.

"Okay, Father," Raditz replied with a nod and his own stance.

After a few moments of silence, the one to break it was Bardock, charging towards Raditz with a mild yell, throwing a straight punch towards his face. Raditz quickly dodged back while throwing a Ki blast to the floor in front of Bardock making lots of dust blow up creating a smoke screen. He knew Bardock couldn't sense Ki so he planned a quick sneak attack, knowing he couldn't take him head on yet at his current level. The smoke screen stunned Bardock momentarily, and in that instant Raditz slipped behind him grabbing Bardock's tail that was wrapped around his waist!

Raditz squeezed and pulled as hard as he could, as if he was playing tug of war in his original world, smiling as he did it because he felt good about getting the jump on his father. Once the dust settled, Bardock still hadn't moved at all after Raditz grabbed his tail, a moment later though he turned his head to look back at Raditz with a devilishly angry grin on his face.

"OH SHIT!"

Raditz was sent flying a moment later by Bardock's strong backhand, but that wasn't all. Before he was able to recover from that last hit, Bardock flew up to him and hit him again and again, sending flying even further.

"This guy is spamming knockback on me, well try this on for size" Raditz spoke in his mind then he used his Ki to accelerate his backward momentum, seeing that Bardock had almost caught up to him again, and charged two powerful energy spheres in his hands.

"Double Sunday!"

He launched the attack used by Raditz in the original series, but increased the speed of both beam's rotation with his Ki control, making the attack even stronger. Although he hoped it would hit, if he was honest he wasn't expecting it too. Just as he thought his father dodged both beams pretty easily, right after though Raditz curved the beams to circle back around towards his fathers back.

Noticing the Double Sunday catching up to him, Bardock turned around and blasted a huge Riot Javelin towards it, canceling out both attacks. That opening was all Raditz needed to come in from above with an axe kick, aimed at Bardock's head. His father just barely blocked the attack with his right arm.

"You're too slow!" shouted Bardock, almost Taunting his son, but he was actually trying to encourage him to go even harder, brushing his attack away. They exchanged a few blows back and forth at incomprehensible speeds in typical Dragon Ball fashion, but Raditz's hits were weaker and didn't do too much damage, while his father's attacks were becoming increasingly hard to block.

"Too weak! Is that all you can do?" Bardock yelled at Raditz as he hit him with a wide kick sending his small body flying a few dozen meters.

As they were exchanging blows, Bardock decided to ramp it up to the next level to see how far Raditz could really take himself, truthfully he was already proud of his first son's performance at such a young age, and anticipated how he could grow if he was properly trained like only the most elite saiyan children were.

Fortunately or unfortunately, Bardock's idea of pushing his son to the next level, was to challenge him by challenging his Saiyan Pride, he continued to belittle him while constantly beating on him. This seemed to be how far Raditz could go for now.

"WEAK!" Raditz heard while getting kicked and punched around helplessly.

"Khk, this is what I wanted, to fight someone stronger than myself" he thought as blood spilled from his face. His saiyan blood riled up at the thought of fighting someone stronger than him, but at this point it was too much for him, he was simply getting demolished.

Raditz attempted to interrupt his fathers assault by quickly charging a Ki blast with left arm, aiming it, but before he could condense the ki, Bardock pulled his left arm down while head butting him to the floor.

"At least I should get a pretty good zenkai boost from this, if I don't die first that is" Raditz thought while deliriously laughing from the pain.

Bardock floated down to the ground, and picked up Raditz by his naturally long black hair.

"Why are you laughing? Come on. I know you can do a lot more, so quit acting and fight back…Fine! Then you can at least make for a durable punching bag, Raditz!" he said with a tone of dissatisfaction, as he started to combo Raditz again.

Bardock knew that if Gine saw this he would have been long dead, but for some reason he just felt that if he gave him a bit more of a push, Raditz could truly shine.

As he continued to get ragdolled, Raditz no longer found this fun or enjoyable, no, he felt something different bubbling up inside of him. Pure rage at the bastard who put him through this pain, this utter humiliation.

Bardock finally stopped to think if he was overdoing it too much, as his son was now bloodied and bruised all over as if he had gone through the fiercest battle of his life, which was technically true. At this point it was too late though. Suddenly the air in the environment shifted and some small rocks started to rise into the air. Bardock now felt a bit of danger, as the Saiyan child convulsed with rage.

Raditz had a face like a demon, as some veins on his forehead popped out. Bardock quickly checked the scouter to see son's power level. It was now at over 10,000 and still rapidly rising as the boy adopted a thin green aura around himself.

From 10000 to 15000 thousand it was still gradually rising. When it finally stopped was when the boy was back on his feet staring daggers at his father. Raditz's power level was now over 30000, Bardock's scouter broke, as Raditz got a system message notifying him that he unlocked his Wrathful form. He didn't even bother to acknowledge it though, because he couldn't shake the unstoppable rage he felt towards his father.

"YOOOUUU!!" he screamed briefly before a Ki blast bigger than any of the ones either of them had used previously shot out of his mouth towards Bardock.

"Oh Shit" Bardock now thought while he barely managed to dodge the mouth blast which continued into the atmosphere. It was too late for regrets now. Now his son would truly shine, with this terrifying greenish aura. Bardock had no clue what this was, but he quickly realized that he was no match for this, at least not in this form, but to transform into an Oozaru right now would be too risky, since he didn't know how it would affect raditz.

Now he would have to give it his all, and face the consequences of his actions.

"Come, Raditz!" he yelled to the heavens while charging his Final Spirit Javelin to the Max.

Raditz quickly agreed, dashing towards his father while charging a Green Double Sunday in his right hand. They both launched their super charged attacks at each other, which resulted in a beam struggle. Both father and son screamed as loud as they could, pushing past their limits, but Raditz's power in this form was too great, his blast won out the beam struggle and impacted Bardock hard leaving him a smoldering bloody mess while dropping to the floor.

Finally, after seeing his Father's body hit the floor all the rage he had before was quelled, and he looked horrified at what he had done.

"Father no!" he yelled, ignoring his pain and running towards his father. When he reached him he was shocked by the fact his armor was partially destroyed.

Tears began to flow heavily from his eyes

"I'm sorry, father it's all my fault, I couldn't control my self"

"Don't cry my son, it was my fault for pushing you too hard, I just knew you had a lot of potential, but who knew it was that much." Bardock said without hatred, actually laughing.

"Me neither, I'm happy, you're alright" Raditz said with a smile as he wiped the tears away.

"Looks like we both got beaten up pretty badly, hey Raditz, let's head to the Medical machine to recover... and remember to keep this a secret from Gine." Bardock told him.

"Ok, let's go" the child replied.

(AN: I edited the story, because a lot of people thought it was straight BS how he got 2 transformations in one go, so now he'll only have the wrathful form, and Bardock won't be dying, just severely injured.)
