Chapter 241 - Nami, Usopp, Brook Vs Shamon Part 4

"Are you crazy? You are not the only one who wants to save Liam. What do you think of your crew?"

Usopp harshly shouted in her face when she said that. Even though he was happy with her growth, he didn't want her to make any mistakes because of her love.

Only then did Nami realize what she said, and her expression turned pale.

Usopp heavily sighed and patted Nami's shoulder.

"Nami, you must remember. We have our own goal in the crew. If Kuma, Law, and Bonney didn't have their history and powers, Liam might not invite them."

"He is doing this to make sure our crew gets reach Raftel safely even if he is not there. That's what he should do. Because he is the Vice-Captain of the crew. He is the one to make these plans."

"That's his job."

"Defeating the enemy is Luffy's job. He will do anything to keep us safe and alive because he is the Captain. My job is to give support to my crew from far away. Because I am a sniper."

"You are a Navigator, Nami. Your job is not to fight the enemy but to take us wherever we need to go. Liam told us again and again. He doesn't want us to get stronger for the sake of getting stronger."

"He wants us to be stronger so that if we are ever in a pinch, we can survive on our own. That's his intention of making you stronger."

Hearing his words, Nami heavily sighed a breath of relief and said.

"Thank you for reminding me, Usopp. I got agitated when I saw Chopper and Franky winning their battle while I was simply trying to hide from my enemy."

"It's not just them. Robin and Vivi should've also finished their battles."

Usopp said while pointing towards the sky. They saw several large fists constantly moving around, chasing after a certain enemy.

Hearing his words, she also turned towards his gaze and saw the same thing, but her sight wasn't as clear as his.

"Then, let's win ours."

Nami said with strong confidence while standing next to Usopp.

"Nami, Vice Captain once told me that we only realize our mistakes after we make mistakes. But if someone is smart enough, we can help them realize their mistakes before they make any."

"Liam reminded me this many times, but I didn't understand it until I had a conversation with Merry. According to her, if she hadn't eaten that Devil Fruit, her keel would've collapsed after a few islands in the Grandline."

"That was the moment I realized what Liam wanted to say. Everyone loves Merry, but I know just how much I love her. She is the gift given by Kaya, so if something happens to her, I will get mad."

"But at the same time, Luffy is the Captain. He has to take into consideration everyone's safety. This is where I would've made a mistake. Just because I believe I am the only one who loves Merry."

"That's not true. Even now, I think Luffy loves Merry as much as I do. But I would've never understood Luffy's mood if Liam hadn't told me or if I hadn't made the same mistake. I am telling you this because you are a smart girl."

"Nami, Luffy is suffering as much as you are because of his decision. But he has made his decision."

"We will save Ace, and then we will bring back Liam. So, keep this in mind. You are not the only one who wants Liam to remain on the crew."

Hearing that, Nami bitterly smiled and nodded.

"I was scared, Usopp. I was afraid that Luffy might abandon Liam. But it's because of that fear that I forgot what kind of person Luffy is. I won't make this mistake again."

"But now, let's not talk about it. We have an enemy to defeat."

As she said, she separated her weather stick into two, holding each other one hand.

Usopp also raised his fingers, and several metal pieces floated next to him, making two circles on his sides.

"Usopp-san, Nami-san, I hope you haven't forgotten me. After all, I am also a part of the crew."

Suddenly, a voice came from the side as they turned and saw Brook walking towards them while spinning his cane on his finger.

"Brook!"

Both Usopp and Nami were excited to see him back on his feet.

"So, the same plan?" Brook asked while looking at Usopp.

"Yes, the same plan!"

Usopp said. His Observation Haki instantly gave him a warning, unlike before when he was caught off guard.

[Metal Trigram]

Suddenly, several large shurikens flew from all directions and rushed behind Usopp. This time, Shamon used the same tactic, unfortunately, Usopp was prepared.

"Your speed might be strong, but don't underestimate my Haki."

Usopp muttered as his shurikens began spinning around Shamon and attacking him from all directions.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Although these shurikens weren't coated with Armament Haki, they were usually sharp, making it harder for Shamon to ignore them simply.

[Finger Gun Firework]

He spun as well while shooting Finger Gun towards different directions at the same time. He was shooting faster than before, but even so, those shurikens were able to dodge his finger gun and attack his skin.

Faced with such a problem, he had no choice but to cover his entire body with Armament Haki.

'Damn it! How good is this guy with Observation Haki? He hasn't even turned around and can control those shurikens with such precision.'

Shamon gritted his teeth as he stopped his attacks and started defending with all of his strength.

Unfortunately, Metal Trigram was an attack that would never stop. So, he had no choice but to passively defend against this attack.

'No, if this goes on, my Haki will run out. I can't use it like that. I need to find another way.'

[Earth Golem]

Shamon crouched down and touched the ground. The ground began to shake as the soil slowly began to rise, blocking those shurikens with its malleable body.

But the soil slowly started transforming into a massive creature that was the size bigger than a house.

Facing such a monstrous creation, none of the three straw hats showed any fear. Nami and Usopp had already retreated, while Brook was ready to face this creature head-on.

"Let's try my new attack. I am not sure if this will work."

Brook muttered while holding the cane tightly. He knew this was a new trick he had learned through Liam's idea.

But he never got a chance to use it or even practice it. He could only practice something else related to it.

That was simply finding the underworld, or rather air of the underworld.

A chilling air that brewed on his sword.

[Three Verse Humming]

Brook dashed forward and jumped. His body looked tiny compared to the Earth Golem, but Shamon wasn't going to underestimate him.

"Die, Brook-san!"

Shamon raised his head and hand several meters into the air and slammed it down. But before it could hit Brook, a cold air emerged around the Earth Golem.

[Soul Arrow Notch Slash]

[Full Release]

(A/N- I was going to call it Bankai, but then I realized the name was initially in English translation, so I changed it back to Full Release.)

Brook appeared behind the Earth Golem. A massive slash appeared on Earth Golem's chest, running down to its stomach. The ice began to spread from the slash, and before Shamon could react, Earth Golem was covered with Ice.

Because of the size of the Earth Golem, he couldn't use Armament Haki to cover it, making it harder to destroy the ice.

Before he could do anything, his Observation Haki gave him a crazy signal.

He couldn't see the future, so he only knew he was going to be attacked, but he didn't even know from where.

At this moment, those shurikens suddenly burst out of his body and hovered around him, forming a strange symbol.

[Eight Trigrams]

[64 Directions]

Just when Shamon was preparing himself to counter, he saw a flash of light. The light was so strong that he had to cover his eyes.

The air distorted, and the blue light became even more intense. The crackle could be heard as a massive lightning bolt struck the first shuriken.

[Lightning Chain Destruction]

Instead of falling to the ground, the lightning traveled to the second shrunken. But it had to pass the Earth Golem, striking it in the process.

G-dang!

A loud sound shook the island as the lightning bolt reached the second shuriken. Then, it went to the third before rushing toward the fourth, where it collided against the Earth Golem once more.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Crack! Bang!

The lightning bolt struck the Earth Golem more than five times before it cracked into pieces, but that wasn't enough.

The last strike had all of the lightning charges in the air between sixty-four shurikens. When Shamon came out of the Earth Golen, battered and bruised, he was covered in a sea of lightning.

Boom!
