Chapter 275 - Returning to Sabody

Kuma nodded and went to alert others, while Liam went straight towards the three brothers.

Their inner organs were destroyed by his Internal Destruction. It was his full-powered strike.

That should've killed them, but they didn't die.

"You are truly unlucky that I came to this world."

Liam shook his head but didn't show any pity as he walked toward them.

These people were pieces of shits, but not everything could be blamed on them. They didn't have any emotions.

But he didn't think they were innocent. These people bullied others just because they could.

It's not like they were complete robots. If they were, it would make sense, but they were cyborg with normal human thinking.

But because their emotions were closed, they chose to act like they were designed; Fearless.

Their powers were quite good as well. They could fight someone like Katakuri, who could not only see the future but also had awakening.

Even if they couldn't contend with him one-on-one, they still had the power to fight that guy.

Katakuri could be called a benchmark between truly strong and weak pirates.

If Luffy weren't in such an anger, he could have managed to fight Kaido a bit longer.

Because of his anger, he lost his Future Sight and was defeated by Kaido. Luffy couldn't tank such a powerful shot, but he could indeed dodge it.

So, Katakuri's strength was no joke. The fact that they could fight him puts them above most people.

Unfortunately, Liam was no longer in the category of most people.

He had surpassed them.

His Divine Departure might not be as good as Shanks, but it was strong enough to contend with him.

These had their body parts destroyed by his attack.

Clack! Clack! Clack!

Liam unsheathed his sword and pierced through their neck, killing three of them one after another.

After waiting for a while, he also noticed a large number of servants and scientists leaving on several snail boats.

Ten minutes later, Kuma appeared next to Liam and said.

"Everyone has left, including the snails!"

Liam nodded, and they flew towards the sky. Kuma used his ability while Liam used Geppo.

When Liam reached a certain height, he clenched his fist. A strong armament, Haki and Conqueror Haki, emerged on his fist, turning it into a red-hot steel.

He swung his arm back, releasing Geppo, which made him fall towards the ship below as he swung his fist downward.

[Galaxy Impact]

His fist released so much air pressure and Haki into a straight column that it exploded upon reaching the surface.

The explosion released a shockwave that tore through the material that made the place itself.

It tore apart everything until it reached the very end of the ship.

The ship started cracking from the middle as the nuke that Liam sent down had torn through the surface and reached the bottom of the ship.

Looking at the impact he caused, Kuma had some flashbacks as he said.

"No wonder they called you Copycat. Although you copied their attacks, your power is no less than theirs."

"Is that so?"

Liam felt good after receiving Kuma's praise.

"Should we return?" Kuma asked.

"Yeah, we also need to be prepared for the next battle. But before that, I should inform our fleet about Germa's demise."

Saying so, Liam took out a transponder snail and dialed a certain number.

After a few seconds, Galdino picked up the call.

"Who is it?"

"It's me!"

"Ah! Vice Captain, do you need something?" Galdino immediately saluted from the other side of the transponder snail and asked.

"I need you to tell our people in East Blue that Germa will no longer bother them. By the way, you haven't left, right?" Liam asked.

"No, no, how can we leave without your permission?" Galdino hurriedly shook his head and replied.

"Good! Tell the crew that Kuma and I will be arriving by evening. Also, tell Sanji that his sister might appear on the ship."

Liam said and ended the call.

"Do you think Reiju will not break the bubble?" Kuma asked.

"That's why I said she is just a victim. When she was a kid, she wanted to help Sanji, but because she feared that her other brothers would bully her, she laughed at Sanji's misery."

"But she was the one who helped Sanji leave Germa. Although Judge found him and told him to never associate himself with Germa again, it was his sister who helped him escape."

"She is not as kid as Sanji, but she is not as ruthless as her father, despite living under him for so long. More importantly, she despises her father. Although she might have some love for him, she won't come here."

Liam shook his head as he thought about Reiju's character.

She did show some concern about her father during Wholecake Island. But that might just be an instinctive reaction due to their relationship.

After all, despite everything Sanji suffered, he still didn't let Judge and his brothers die.

Reiju might not do the same. Because she wasn't as kind as Sanji.

A kind person wouldn't be afraid of injustice.

From his childhood, Sanji was kind, while Reiju might have been innocent and kind, but her childhood shaped her ruthlessness.

On the other hand, Sanji kept his kindness the same.

He never changed if the world had changed.

Most of the Straw Hats didn't change much, even if the world rejected their nature.

Luffy had always been innocent and naive. Nami had always been kind and greedy. Even Robin didn't allow her to fall into darkness.

Zoro had always been ruthless and a core follower of his beliefs. Usopp had been a liar, and he remained the same.

Brook, Franky, and Jinbei had been fiercely loyal before, and they remained the same.

Thinking of the Straw Hats, Liam realized that he might not be able to pull Jinbei into the crew if he kept going like this.

After all, Luffy was introduced to Jinbei during the Impel Down invasion. With their strength, they had no reason to infiltrate Impel Down.

But at this moment, he was reminded of something.

Blackbeard!

This guy would enter Impel Down and gather his forces.

He was also Luffy's enemy. It was better to destroy him than let his evil schemes succeed and destroy him later.

But he had limited time in this world.

As soon as Ace was saved from Marineford, he would disappear. Of course, Ace could still die later on.

But he hoped that Whitebeard's death would act as an inspiration for Ace just like how his death affected Luffy in the original timeline.

Thinking about it, he couldn't help but feel sad.

He was sacrificing the sadness of one person for another.

But then he remembered, he was also going to disappear because of this, and he no longer felt sad for Ace.

If it wasn't for saving Ace, he might have been able to live in this world for much longer.

'Well, there is no point in thinking about this topic now. Unless I take Kuma to infiltrate Impel Down, I can't reach there on time.'

'Wait, Kuma! Yeah, I forgot. I can't go there. But that doesn't mean Kuma can't. He is fast. He is sneaky and, more importantly, he knows Ivankov.'

"Kuma, some plans have changed just now. Let's use continuous teleportation to travel faster!"

Kuma didn't understand, but he didn't doubt Liam either. Although it was a bit taxing to use this move, he was a cyborg, which meant he could fight for a long time.

Using their faster teleportation, they crossed the Calm Belt quite fast.

They chose this route as it would take them to their target faster.

Liam was also getting better at stabilizing himself in mid-air while they flew.

One hour later, they had returned to the ship.

"Huh? Liam and Kuma are back."

The first one to sense their presence was Luffy.

Because of his brother's execution, Luffy woke up early. He had to forcefully wake up, even though his injuries would heal faster while sleeping.

He was afraid that he would sleep while his brother was executed by his enemy. Of course, that wasn't the main reason why he woke up so early.

"Luffy's awake. He woke up quite fast. It seems like bringing you and Law to the ship truly helped."

Liam also sensed Luffy's presence and felt a bit surprised. Normally, it would've taken him quite a long time to wake up.

But he realized that Law and Kuma should've helped Chopper a lot during the surgery.

"Liam, you are back."

Nami ran out of Luffy's room, followed by Robin and Luffy.

She also woke up yesterday and found that Liam had left because Germa targeted Sanji's foster father.

Although she felt offset, she didn't show it and took Robin to Luffy's room.

Because Luffy hadn't woken up either, she had to stay there and take care of both of them, especially Robin.
