The next few days flew by in a blur as I settled into my new routine at NovaTech. I was enjoying my work and getting to know my colleagues better. We would often have team lunches and breaks together, and I was starting to feel like I belonged.
One day, as I was working on a project, Mrs. Rachel called me into her office. I wondered if I had done something wrong, but she just smiled and told me to take a seat.
"Sharon, I wanted to talk to you about your progress," she said. "You're doing great, and I'm impressed with your work ethic. I think you're going to fit in well here."
I smiled, feeling a sense of relief and pride. "Thank you, Mrs. Rachel. I'm really enjoying it here."
She nodded. "I'm glad to hear that. I wanted to discuss a new project with you. We're going to be working with a new client, and I think you'd be perfect for the job."
My ears perked up, and I leaned forward. "What kind of project is it?"
