Crunch~
Watching her silhouette disappear to the other side of the street, Tang Ye twirled his fingers, deep in thought. Her reaction seemed somewhat intriguing.
"Did unexpected concern catch her off guard..."
Shaking his head, Tang Ye glanced at the sun hanging in the sky. It should be summer now, meaning night would come later. If so, it should be around six o'clock, and since Dairya was carrying a backpack, she probably came here after school.
"Just trying to confuse me about the time? In that case..." Suddenly letting out a slight laugh, Tang Ye walked back into the shop. The business at this general store didn't seem to be thriving; apart from that man at the start, nobody else walked in from the time Dairya entered until she left.
