Crossley looked up at him, and Faris was standing right in front of her, her eyes just level with the man's chest.
He wore a black silk robe, the belt slightly loose, hinting at the cool skin and firm chest underneath.
She diverted her gaze, fixing it on the man's resolute chin, waiting for him to speak.
Faris, with a slight curl of his lips, blew her hair dry while saying, "I took her to the park to play this morning, then spent the afternoon at home painting with her... Crossley, Raleigh really loves painting. Last time I took her to the early education center to show her sketches to the teacher, they said she has talent. I want to send her to art classes, what do you think?"
Crossley laughed and nodded, saying, "As long as she likes it, that's fine. I'll support her no matter what!"
She is her treasure, not expecting excellence, but just hoping she grows up healthy and happy, that is her greatest wish.
