The man frowned, turned around, and brought her a cup of warm water. Emma Benson took it, drank a sip, and the warm liquid slid into her empty stomach, instantly making her feel a bit better.
Fiona Schmidt sat silently, on the chair beside her, turning her head to stare at her.
She furrowed her brows, seeming to be thinking hard, but after a long time, she couldn't figure out anything.
Feeling her gaze, Emma Benson turned to look at her and gave her a slight smile: "Little Fi, go have dinner with your brother, don't sit here. I'm fine, I'll eat when I feel like it."
She waved her hand, signaling the siblings not to linger around her.
