Chapter 40 - Chapter 40: A New Friend

Ash's question hung in the air like a fragile bubble, small and trembling, her golden eyes peeking at him from the corner of her vision, cheeks flushed a deep pink that spread down her neck and disappeared under the collar of her oversized hoodie.

The courtyard was quiet in the noon lull, sunlight filtering through the leaves above the bench, casting warm patterns on her pale skin.

She sat at the far end, body curled slightly inward, thick thighs spread wide on the wooden seat in a way that made her hoodie ride up just enough to show the soft, doughy curve where her legs met her hips—plush, tempting flesh that squeezed by tight denim shorts.

Alex leaned back casually, one arm draped over the back of the bench, giving her space but close enough that she could feel the heat radiating from him. His crimson eyes held hers steadily, a faint, knowing smile playing on his lips as he watched her squirm.

"Do I want something from you?" he repeated softly, voice low and smooth, carrying that calm dominance that made her breath hitch. "Only if you want to give it, Ash."

Ash's blush exploded, face turning scarlet as she looked down at her lap, fingers twisting the hem of her hoodie so hard her knuckles went white.

Her thick thighs pressed together tightly, the soft flesh squishing in a way that made the hoodie ride higher, exposing more pale skin.

"I... I don't know what you mean." she mumbled, voice shaky and small, but her body betrayed her. Her large tits heaving with quick, shallow breaths as she tried to calm the sudden heat pooling between her legs.

Alex chuckled softly, gentle but with that teasing dominance that made her squirm even more. "Relax. I'm just playing with you."

She nodded quickly, eyes still down, but her thighs stayed pressed together, the subtle shift of her hips betraying the ache his words had ignited. "I know... you're different. That's why it feels... strange. When you look at me like that."

"Like what?" he asked calmly, voice steady.

Ash's voice dropped to a whisper. "Like... you see me. Not just the crazy girl or the broken one. Like... something else."

Alex nodded slowly. "Because I do see you. The strong one who survived. A pretty girl hiding under that hoodie."

Ash's breath caught, golden eyes flicking up briefly. "P-Pretty? Me?"

"Yes" he said simply, calm as always.

She looked away, blush deepening, but a tiny smile tugged at her lips. "No one's said that before, expect mom..."

"Trust me" he replied. "You're charming."

Silence settled again, comfortable this time. Ash inched a fraction closer on the bench, cautious but deliberate.

"I guess... I don't mind if you look at me for hours" she whispered finally, voice barely audible. "It doesn't feel bad. Just... unusual... for now."

Alex's smile widened slightly. "Unusual is good."

Ash nodded, biting her lip to hide her faint smile. "Yeah... the unusual is good."

The bell for lunch break rang in the distance, a soft chime that made Ash jump slightly.

Alex stood, offering his hand. "Hungry? There's a good snack shop nearby. My treat."

Ash hesitated long, eyes on his hand, then stood with taking it—but walked beside him normally, closer than before. "If... it's not a bother."

Alex knew the financial struggle she and her mother suffered. Plus the succubus was creating him money from thin air.

They left the campus together, Ash a shy step behind but matching his pace, golden eyes flicking to him every few seconds as if checking he was still there.

The snack shop was a short walk off campus—a cozy place popular with students, crowded at lunch with the smell of fresh fries, grilled sandwiches and burgers, and coffee thick in the air. The line was long, winding past display cases of pastries and drinks.

Alex and Ash joined the queue, Ash staying close but not touching, golden eyes flicking nervously at the crowd but relaxing when near him.

That's when it happened. An unusual, but pleasant sight for Alex, and even Liza. 'Woah, so yummy~'

In front of them, an orange-haired girl in an orange pleated skirt shifted her weight, looking up at the shop display menu—and her skirt caught on her bag strap, flipping up completely in the back.

Perfect peachy bubble ass on full display. Round, firm cheeks pale and smooth, a black thong wedged deep between them, the thin string disappearing into the crack as her plump flesh jiggled from the sudden exposure.

Alex's eyes widened, cock twitching hard in his jeans at the sight—thick, juicy cheeks that begged to be grabbed, spread, spanked red.

'Do all college girls wear such sexy panties? Looks so good, I admit!' Liza was happy and satisfied, beautiful asses and titties were making Alex more lustful, which meant more energy for her.

The girl felt the penetrating male gaze and squeaked, yanking her skirt down with a mortified gasp, spinning around—face exploding red as she realized who was behind her.

"You!" she stammered, orange hair falling over flushed cheeks, orange eyes wide with shock. It was Lily—Erin's bold-but-shy library friend from before, the one he met after ravaging Erin's rough.

Last time, she was more polite.

Lily's hands flew to cover her ass even through the skirt, body trembling with embarrassment. "Pervert! Stop staring! You saw everything, didn't you?? Jerk!"

Her voice was mean, scolding, but shaky—shy stuttering underneath, orange eyes avoiding his as her small tits heaved with panicked breaths under her white blouse, nipples hard and poking through the thin material from the adrenaline.

It wasn't an ordinary man in front of her, but a towering handsome and charming vampire-like. The first time she saw him, her panties soaked up.

Compared to him, she was short and petite.

Alex raised hands innocently, a smile playing. "Accident. But... nice peach."

Lily's blush deepened to nuclear, mouth opening and closing, her pretty orange eyes spinning with embarrassment. "Ah! S-Shut up! Don't say that! You... you weren't supposed to see!"

Ash beside him hid a tiny smile behind her sleeve, golden eyes wide but amused.

The line moved forward, trapping Lily with them.

Lily crossed arms over her small tits, trying to look mean but failing—voice shaky. "This is your fault for standing behind me! Gosh, this so embarrassing now..."

Alex chuckled behind Lily. "Call it a happy accident."

Lily huffed, but her orange eyes flicked back to him curiously, shy underneath the bold scolding. "D-Don't think this means I forgive you! Pervert!"

"What are you even doing here?" Lily demanded, voice bold but cheeks still burning. "I don't usually see you come here?"

Alex calm. "Lunch."

Lily rolled her eyes, but glanced at Ash. "And you brought a girl? What's her name?"

"You can ask her." Alex said and looked at Ash beside him. She was quiet for the most part, but liked Lily's daring nature.

Lily turned to Ash, averting Alex's charming gazs. She let out her bold curiosity. "Hi, I'm sorry for the fuss and the... forget about it! I'm Lily. This pervert's new victim? I heard rumors he's a womanizer... I guess I can believe that now!"

Ash mumbled hesitantly. "No... he's... nice. I'm.... Ashlyn, but you can call me Ash."

Lily laughed, bold but shy eyes on Alex. "Nice? He just called my butt a peach! He's a pervert, stay away from him!"

Ash small smile. "I agree, it... is nice."

Lily squeaked, her eyes widened and her cheeks flustered. Now even Ash was teasing her about her ass. "H-Hey! Don't agree with him!"

They reached the counter—Alex ordered for himself and Ash. Burgers and fries, and some soda. Lily ordered flustered, voice high. She ended up getting the same thing as them.

Crowded shop, no free tables for one or two. Alex spotted one with three seats. "Lily, join us?"

Lily hesitated, mean facade cracking. "Not because I want to! Just... no other seats."

They sat—Alex and Ash shy on one side, Lily bold-shy on other.

Lily talked more, voice trying bold but shy expression betraying. "Do you know Erin well? She seems very absent minded these days."

Alex mumbled softly. "I know her well. "

Lily glanced at her curiously, then back to Alex, bold with shy eyes. "She did talk a lot about you lately...! And now you're with another girl here? What, hunting girls or something?"

Alex smiled calmly. "Something like that."

Lily's orange eyes widened, blush returning. "What?! You're serious? That's... bold."

For her Alex seemed like a quiet nerd, so she was buffled by his answer. He wasn't even smiling, he admitted it with seriousness.

Ash mumbled shyly. "He's... protective." She nodded in confirmation as she took sips from her soda.

Lily turned to Ash, bold curiosity. "Protective? Like knight in shining armor? Spill! H-He can't be magnet for girls for no reason!"

Ash hesitated, cautious. "He... helped me. With someone bad. He saved me."

Lily leaned in, bold but softening. "Bad how? You okay now?"

Ash nodded shyly. "Better... because of him."

Lily looked at Alex, bold tease, but with a frown. "Hero type, huh? I guess that gets you lots of girls? I-I mean you're handsome, but still beauty alone isn't it!"

Alex calm. "Gets me the right ones." He already ate half of his burger while the girls just talked.

Lunch chitchatting flowed. Lily bold teasing "So, quiet Ash—how'd he save you? Cape and everything? Hahahaha~" But shy stuttering when Alex teased back "Your peach deserves compliments".

Ash quiet but warming—small comments "He... scared a bad guy away." defending Alex shyly when Lily teased too in hard "He's... good, I swear!".

Ash shy "He's... good at listening too."

Lily "Listening? That's code for something naughty, right? I can tell his eyes are filthy!"

Ash blushed. "No... just... talks."

Lily laughed "Fine, keep secrets! But I will definitely get out the absolute truth about this pervert. I can't believe he saw my bare butt..."

Ash small mouth moved. "It was an accident..."

Lily admitted with reddened cheeks, all while avoiding Alex's charming eyes. "Yeah, I admit it it's my fault, but he looked so pervertly!"

Alex smirked again. "Yeah, a beautiful peach."

Lily squeaked. "Stop it! You're awful!"

Ash small laughs eoched and Alex was happy to see them. Lily's unwavering energy did bring out the depression out of Ash. The two even talked with each other.

They talked for the lunch break, shop quiet around them, Lily bold pulling stories from Ash slowly, Ash opening bit by bit, shy smiles growing.
