[ BEDROOM – NIGHT – 2019]
Dim fairy lights. A phone glows under a blanket. Alvira and her younger sister whisper as they scroll through TikTok, careful not to wake anyone.
Younger Sister (whispering):
"Ugh, slow down! You skipped one — he looked cute."
Alvira (scrolls back):
"Who? Them? Just some random boys in makeup dancing."
Pause. Music plays again.
Younger Sister (quiet giggle):
"Not random. That's a famous band. They're everywhere."
Alvira (staring at the screen):
"...That one. Him."
(lowers volume even more)
"He looks... different."
[. BEDROOM – DAYS LATER]
Alvira alone now. Curtain drawn. Door locked. She scrolls through YouTube, watching interviews, performances, music videos of the same boy over and over.
Alvira (softly to herself):
"Why does it feel like I know you? Like you're... familiar somehow."
A knock on her door.
Mother (off-screen):
"Alvira, namaz time. You're not on your phone, are you?"
Alvira (quickly switches screen):
"No, Ammi! Just studying."
Mother (satisfied):
"Hmm. Good girl."
She waits. Silence. Then, she presses play again, whispering along with a lyric in Korean.
[ LIVING ROOM – FAMILY GATHERING]
Alvira sits with a book in her lap, pretending to read. In her mind, music plays. A fan clip. A fancam. The moment he smiled. Her heart stutters.
Cousin (laughing):
"Why are you blushing while reading your chemistry book?"
Alvira (snaps out of it):
"I'm not! It's... hot in here."
They move on. She exhales deeply. No one knows. No one can.
[ BEDROOM – NIGHT – SECRET FAN ACCOUNT]
She makes a hidden username. Posts her first fan edit. Joins a group chat of fans across the globe.
Random Fan (chat screen):
"Where are you from? You stan Taehyung too?"
**Alvira (typing)*:
"Can't say. I'm... somewhere I can't even tell my family."
Fan:
"Girl, same. Hidden army since 2017."
Alvira (smiling at her screen):
"I thought I was the only one."
[ KITCHEN – EVENING – NORMAL FAMILY TALK]
Everyone laughs, talks about marriage, jobs, exams. No one knows what Alvira's heart is full of.
Alvira (voiceover):
"They don't know. They can't know.
He's from another world.
A different land.
A different faith.
And yet, every time I hear his voice…
My soul whispers his name."
[. BEDROOM – ALVIRA AND HER YOUNGER SISTER]
Younger Sister (grinning):
"He wore that outfit again today."
Alvira (eyes lighting up):
"Seriously?! Send the clip!"
Younger Sister (whispers):
"You're in deep, Api."
Alvira (smiling sadly):
"I know.
And he'll never know.
Because I'm not even allowed to dream of him."
[NARRATION – ALVIRA'S VOICEOVER]
> "He doesn't know me.
I'm not a face in his crowd.
Not a name in his messages.
I'm just a girl behind a screen,
loving silently, hiding deeply.
He'll never know I fell…
and kept falling."
