Chapter 36 - Borinnnnng

"Dad...this is boring." Meliodas say, languidly. Were inside the my palace in the 'living room' I guess you could call it. It was just a big room with lots of stuff it in, no tv though unfortunately. But there was pool, a game from my past life that I really liked playing so I wanted to introduce it to Meliodas.

"Its not boring, its fun." We had just started, and he was playing stripes. It's been a few weeks since we beat Odin back to Asgard and people have pretty much returned to normal.

So after making sure all the souls went where they were supposed to go now it was just free time. Angela was back in Sparta, Amaltheia was in the palace hanging out with some nymphs she invited and all my siblings were either on Olympus or in their own little sanctuary.

I think this is what my siblings felt after the War for Heaven against the Titans, what do you do after you won the war and there aren't any immediate threats, I guess... you just chill out. Not saying I've completely chilled out, sure I'm no longer training mortals or mass producing Necromechs, mostly because they're going to obsolete as soon as I get enough souls for some REAL mechs, giant ones. But Kara doing something important for me so there's nothing that I 'need' to do.

Knocking my yellow ball into the pocket with a ricochet off the wall I pull up my system rubbing chalk on my cue.

Even after the war I didn't get many souls, there weren't more than half a million Greek soldiers on the ground and all of the Asgardians souls were taken away as soon as they were slain by who I can only assume to be Bor, their creator(I did some research and 'learned', kind of knew already that Bor didnt 'make' the asgardians but for the sake of coolness lets say he did). But even still I gained 300 thousand souls which is pretty good. Its only a matter of time until the Greeks population begins to spike once they all figure out farming and medicine then its just waiting. But I could probably help speed it along.

Meliodas eyes a green stripped ball sitting near the center of the table, bending down and concentrating, his tongue on lip, with the concentration of a monk he makes his move. And misses completely his cue missing its mark and sending the ball spinning into the wall and bouncing off into an awkward part of the table.

"Yeah, this sucks dad." He says with a sigh.

"Probably because you suck." Bending down I aim my cue slamming hard at the center of the white ball it knocks my ball into the pocket with a satisfying clack.

"Still sucks." He drops his cue and moves onto a different game still bored. I couldn't help but rub my chin at it, he had friends plently of them I'm sure especially so since he my son but.. maybe not close friends... Hmmmmmmm.

I'm going to talk with your mother why don't you go hang out with Angela, I'm sure she's doing something fun." I open a portal to the palace in Sparta waving him through as he leaves with no complaints, clearly not wanting to linger any longer.

Walking through the halls my feet make a beat across the obsidian floor as I approach the Atrium. I hear their voices hush as I approach.

"Shh-shh he's coming.! Don't say a word." Turning the corner I see her and her friends all of them sitting on ornate lawn chairs in the center of the lush Atrium bathing in the blue sun.

"Whats with all the hush hush?" I come up behind her putting my large hands on her shoulders and begin to give her a massage, her body relaxing even more than it already was.

"I don't know what you're talking about dear, any who where's Meliodas? I thought you were teaching him how to play your table game." She says, her voice a low growl as he hums into my menstruations.

"I was, but he was bored...didn't like it much so I let him go play around Sparta thought he might meet some new people." I said taking my hands off her and pulling up a spare chair to sit in front of her. The other Nymphs in the room simply averted their gazes of us or simply closed them and continued to bask.

"What's the matter Hades?" She opened her eyes fully now, looking at me and paying her full attention.

"Nothing Thea, its just.. I think Meliodas should leave the Underworld. He has no friends his age here. The Clingers leave quickly and the cyclopes don't exactly scream child whimsey." My voice coming out in a small huff, I didn't know if she was going to freak out at the idea or maybe flat out deny it but-

"Yeah I think so too." My eyebrows raised at that.

"Oh-"

"Yeah, I think him living down here with us is great and all but we're his parents, not his friends, its different when its strangers that you meet instead of the people you grew up with. I think it'd be good for him, see the world meet new people, find a girl~." Hadn't expected that but can't say I'm not glad of it.

"My horsemen in training should be done by weeks end, how about when they get back we ship him to some corner of the earth, new people, new land, new everything a little adventure for him?" I say excitement growing in my voice. Going on an adventure is the dream of an isekia'd person but I chose the wrong start for that, I could always do it once some cool people appear, like apocalypse who should spawn in, in about a thousand years or so give or take, we accelerated humanities advancement, clearing the stone age pretty fast. However they might have bronze tools and stone buildings thanks to our help but there wasn't really that, foundation, the infrastructure of knowledge that only really comes with time, when people teach their kids what they were taught and so on.

"That sounds great! Now, onto something I was thinking about, how do you feel about Circe?"
