"Our combatants: all members of the Thirteen Elders."
"Enemy: Ten Thousand Spirit Silence Association."
"Mission requirement: must defeat the opponent."
"Failure means deletion!"
By then, all families had completed a round of contributions.
Everyone felt as if they had been cut a piece of flesh from nowhere, obviously unhappy, but seeing such a mission briefing gradually calmed their emotions.
Regardless, if the Elders were to lose—
None of the council members would have a good outcome.
Even the Council would face a destructive attack from the Ten Thousand Spirit Silence Association.
From this perspective, the funds just contributed were akin to personally contributing to the imminent life-and-death battle.
