The item emitted a golden glow, then shattered and turned into tiny stars, which drilled into the corpse on the ground.
As the starlight entered, the fatal wound on the birdman's chest slowly healed until there was no trace left.
A soft sound emerged, and the birdman's body burst into golden light, which then immediately re-entered his body.
The corpse then returned to stillness, seemingly unchanged except for the healed chest wound.
"Cough, cough! Huff, huff!"
The white-feathered birdman suddenly resurrected, sitting up while clutching his chest wound, gasping heavily.
The burly man extended his arm and said, "Welcome back, my brother. How does death feel?"
The birdman took the burly man's offered arm and stood up.
