ASHLEY'S POV
A gust of cool breeze rushed past my skin, and I opened my eyes to the dim room. The lights were turned off, but unusually, the balcony doors were left wide open. The white silk curtains danced to the wind as the moon rays gently shone in.
"Sian?" I whispered, my elbows propping my tired body off the mattress.
My palms reached out in search of his familiar warmth, yet his strong comforting presence was nowhere to be found.
"Sian?" my voice hoarse and tired.
I gently placed my feet off the bed and on the cold marble tile. The air-conditioner was on, and it would be a waste if the windows were open.
'Where could Sian be?'
I took a step out of the balcony, maybe it would be nice to bask in the night's breeze, if only for a few minutes. The breeze swept my hair, swaying the brown wavy locks in my face.
