The nanny van sped along the winding mountain road.
Wendy Wayne looked at the beautiful scenery of West Cloud Mountain, a sigh escaping from her lips.
The female driver, Sue Young, who was her assistant, heard the sound and chimed in, "Sister Wayne, if you really wanted to go in, why didn't you have Madam Ronan speak to Master Ronan just now?"
Wendy grasped the thin strap of her jeans, chuckling softly, "Why go in? To annoy Brother Ronan?"
"I thought... you wanted to see the young woman Madam mentioned."
Wendy contemplated for a moment and then sighed knowingly, "Our circle is so small; if Brother Ronan wants us to meet, we'll cross paths sooner or later."
Sue Young clearly saw through the rear-view mirror the melancholy hidden beneath her calm surface, and after some thought, suggested, "Do you want me to investigate her background? Maybe she's just an ordinary friend, not like what we think."
