Chapter 105 - Chapter 95: First Kiss

Upstairs.

Henry Ronan came to the lounge next to the study room and saw Lucy Ansley sitting in front of the piano through the half-closed door.

She was still trying out the keys, her fair fingers lightly tapping the black and white keys.

The sunlight outside the window was faint, with only a few rays struggling to spill out from the clouds, slanting through the window and dancing on the keys as her hands moved.

The man didn't disturb her but stood watching her straight back.

Perhaps because she hadn't touched a piano in a long time, or maybe because of a change in her state of mind, Lucy seemed no longer resistant to things related to the past.

She tested a few notes, then rubbed her hands together, her ten fingers landing back on the keys, and she played a melodious classic piece.

"Mariage d'Amour" in G minor.

The wistful and sorrowful piano piece flowed into every corner of the room.
