Chapter 103 - Chapter 93: Moving House

Lucy Ansley sat up and answered in a soft voice, "Hello?"

"Are you asking if I'm busy because you want something?" The tranquil night made the baritone voice even more magnetic and rich.

Lucy explained, "If you're busy, I won't go to the study to disturb you."

He got off work earlier than the previous days today, so he might not have finished his work.

On the other end, the man seemed to smile faintly, "I'm not busy, come over."

Lucy's lips curled into a silent smile, infected by his laughter, "Do you want some tea? I'll go downstairs and brew you a cup?"

"I have some here, just come over."

After hanging up the phone, Lucy slipped into her slippers and walked out of the room.

The wall lamps in the corridor emitted a warm, gentle glow. Lucy walked unhurriedly to the other end and, standing at the study door, tidied her hair and straightened her clothes.

Everything ready, she raised her hand and knocked on the door.
