"Anna, eat slowly..."
Elaine Ruane patted Lucy Ansley's back and called a servant to bring a cup of warm water.
Eva Ronan shook her head slightly and said casually, "Mom, I think I heard Dad calling you just now."
"Did he?" Elaine Ruane looked out of the dining room suspiciously, "I didn't hear anything."
Eva raised her eyebrows lightly, "Both Anna and I heard it, maybe you should go and check?"
Elaine instinctively glanced at Lucy, seeing her sipping water slowly, didn't ask further, stood up and walked out, "You two continue eating, I'll be right back."
Once only Eva and Lucy were left in the dining room, the atmosphere instantly relaxed a lot.
Eva walked to the window, opened it, and leisurely took out a lady's cigarette box, "Do you mind if I smoke?"
"Not at all, feel free, big sister."
